PENERAPAN KONSELING RASIONAL EMOTIF PERILAKU UNTUK MENURUNKAN PERILAKU RENDAH DIRI SISWA KELAS X-4 DI SMA WACHID HASYIM TAMAN SIDOARJO

Tujuan dari penelitian ini, ingin mengetahui apakah konseling kelompok rasional emotif perilaku dapat menurunkan perilaku rendah diri siswa disekolah kelas X-4 SMA Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pre-eksperimen berupa one-group pre-test dan pest-test design. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket untuk mengukur perilaku rendah diri siswa. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 7 siswa kelas X-4 SMA Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo yang memiliki kategori pada perilaku rendah diri siswa. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji tanda. Hasil dari perhitungan, untuk 5% level signifikan dan N=7 menunjukkan T hitung kurang dari T table. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode konseling kelompok rasional emotif perilaku dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi perilaku rendah diri pada siswa kelas X-4 SMA Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo.

ABSTRACT

This research is aimed to find out whether Rational emotive behavior counseling can decrease Inferiority complex of the students in class X-4 Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman Senior High School, Sidoarjo. This research uses pre-experimental design of one-group pre-test and post-test design. The data collection technique used is questionare designed to measure students’ inferiority complex.  The subject of this research is 7 students of class X-4 Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman Senior High School, Sidoarjo who are categorized as High on inferiority complex. The data analysis technique used is Wilcoxon test and the result shows that 5% level is significant and N=7 shows that T is less than T table. This result shows that Rational emotive behavior counseling is effective to decrease inferiority complex of the students of class X-4 Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman Senior High School, Sidoarjo.
