PENGEMBANGAN BOOKLET SELF-MANAGEMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEDISIPLINAN BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA

Hasil observasi menunjukkan masih terdapat peserta didik yang terlambat datang ke sekolah, keluar kelas ketika jam pelajaran, dan terlambat mengumpulkan tugas. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata perilaku kedisiplinan belajar peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori sedang sebesar 88% dengan jumlah 111 peserta didik. Hasil wawancara dengan peserta didik, diketahui jika mereka kurang bisa membagi waktu antara belajar, bermain, beristirahat, dan berkegiatan lainnya. Kedisiplinan belajar adalah serangkaian perilaku yang menunjukkan ketaatan dan kepatuhan untuk belajar. Akan tetapi, tidak semua peserta didik telah menunjukkan perilaku kedisiplinan belajar. Untuk mengantisipasi masalah kedisiplinan belajar, perlu diberikan strategi self-management. Self-management sebagai strategi pengubahan perilaku yang menitikberatkan pada kemauan dan kemampuan untuk mengubah dan mengelola perilaku. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media berupa booklet self-management untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar peserta didik SMP, yang memenuhi kriteria akseptabilitas berdasarkan aspek kegunaan, kelayakan, ketepatan, dan kepatutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) Borg & Gall, hanya sampai tahap kelima. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui hasil angket yang diberikan pada saat uji validasi. Sedangkan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil data dan analisis yang berupa catatan, komentar, masukan, dan kritik dari validator dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata 96,5% (sangat baik), ahli media 96% (sangat baik), calon pengguna (guru BK) 92,5% (sangat baik). Maka, total seluruh penilaian uji validasi memperoleh hasil 95% yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa booklet self-management telah memenuhi kriteria akseptabilitas dengan kategori sangat baik dan dapat digunakan guru BK dalam memberikan layanan BK.

Abstract
Observation results show that there are still students who come to school late, leave class during class time, and submit assignments late. The results of the questionnaire showed that the average student learning discipline behavior was in the medium category at 88% with a total of 111 students. The results of interviews with students showed that they were unable to divide their time between studying, playing, resting and other activities. Learning discipline is a series of behaviors that show obedience and obedience to learning. However, not all students have demonstrated disciplined learning behavior. To anticipate learning discipline problems, self-management strategies need to be provided. Self-management is a behavior change strategy that focuses on the willingness and ability to change and manage behavior. This research aims to develop media in the form of self-management booklets to improve the learning discipline of junior high school students, which meets acceptability criteria based on aspects of usefulness, feasibility, accuracy and appropriateness. The research method used is Borg & Gall research and development (R&D), only up to the fifth stage. The data collection instrument consists of quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data was obtained through the results of a questionnaire given during the validation test. Meanwhile, describing the results of data and analysis in the form of notes, comments, input and criticism from validators is carried out qualitatively. Validation results from material experts obtained an average score of 96.5% (very good), media experts 96% (very good), prospective users (counseling teachers) 92.5% (very good). So, the total of all validation test assessments obtained a result of 95% which can be concluded that the self-management booklet has met the acceptability criteria in the very good category and can be used by guidance and counseling teachers in providing guidance and counseling services.
