PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PANDUAN TEKNIK MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING UNTUK MENURUNKAN STRES AKADEMIK SISWA SMK
Abstract
This study aims to develop a counseling guidebook on motivational interviewing designed to assist school counselors in enhancing their competence in addressing students' academic stress issues. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method. According to Brog & Gall, the R&D method involves ten stages, but this study only implements the first five stages due to time and budget constraints. These five stages include: 1) Gathering information through literature reviews and field surveys, 2) Planning, 3) Developing an initial product prototype, 4) Conducting preliminary trials, and 5) Revising the product. Expert validation results indicate that the motivational interviewing guidebook meets excellent criteria and is recommended for use.
