Abstract

This study aims to analyze the vocational high school students' needs regarding learning media to enhance career self-efficacy. Based on observations at the school, it was found that the learning process in the Guidance and Counseling (BK) subject was not supported by effective learning media, with the material being delivered verbally without visual aids. This resulted in students having difficulty understanding the material in depth and a lack of engagement in the learning process. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive design to describe the students' career self-efficacy levels and their needs regarding learning media. Data was collected through a Career Self-Efficacy questionnaire consisting of 55 statements that were tested for validity and reliability. The analysis results showed the average percentage of students' needs in the dimensions of self-appraisal at 35%, occupational information at 43%, goal setting at 38%, planning at 37%, problem solving at 33%, and the e-booklet media at 40%. Based on these findings, it is recommended that e-booklet-based learning media be used to support the development of students' career self-efficacy, helping them recognize their potential, their careers, and face the challenges ahead.
