PENILAIAN DIRI DAN AFIRMASI SOSIAL SEBAGAI ASPEK YANG BERPENGARUH PADA CAREER DECISION MAKING SELF EFFICACY (CDMSE) PADA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS

Abstract

Teenagers often face decisions in their lives, including those regarding their future careers. A person's
ability to make decisions is a necessity that must be met. When choosing a career, self-confidence
is essential when completing tasks related to career decisions, also known as CDMSE, to ensure that the
choices made are appropriate . This study offers insights to enhance CDMSE concerning career selection.
This article was written using a literature review method , with data collection involving the analysis of 43
articles into 10 articles. The data analysis technique employed is content analysis. The
study 's findings indicate that CDMSE is influenced by six aspects: self-assessment, information gathering,
goal selection, planning, problem - solving, and social affirmation. From the information collected, it
was found that self-assessment and social affirmation are frequently discussed aspects because
they significantly impact career decisions. Additionally, personality and gender can also
be supportive factors in students career choices.
