REGULASI EMOSI PESERTA DIDIK KORBAN BROKEN HOME DI SMP NEGERI 39 SURABAYA

Keadaan broken home dapat mempengaruhi individu dalam meregulasi emosi, termasuk pada remaja. Emosi sangat penting bagi individu untuk diregulasi agar emosi tidak diaplikasikan secara berlebihan. Fokus penelitian ini mendapatkan gambaran mengenai regulasi emosi peserta didik broken home, dampak regulasi emosi, dan peran guru bk dalam meningkatkan regulasi emosi peserta didik. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data ini didapatkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dengan uji keabsahan trianggulasi. Sumber data pada penelitian terdiri dari sumber primer yakni dua peserta didik kelas IX di SMP Negeri 39 Surabaya yang memiliki latar belakang broken home, dan sumber sekunder yakni teman dekat dari dua peserta didik, wali kelas, dan guru bk. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa regulasi emosi peserta didik bahwa broken home tidak selalu buruk. Ada yang dapat meningkatkan perilakunya menjadi lebih aktif dan ada yang menjadi menutup diri dan pasif.

Abstract
A broken home situation can influence individuals in regulating emotions, including teenagers. Emotions are very important for individuals to regulate so that emotions are not applied excessively. The focus of this research is to obtain an overview of the emotional regulation of broken home students, the impact of emotional regulation, and the role of guidance and counseling teachers in improving students' emotional regulation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This data was obtained through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions with triangulation validity tests. The data sources in the research consisted of primary sources, namely two class IX students at SMP Negeri 39 Surabaya who had broken home backgrounds, and secondary sources, namely close friends of the two students, the homeroom teacher, and the guidance counselor. The results of the case study show that students' emotional regulation in broken homes is not always bad. There are those who can increase their behavior to become more active and there are those who become closed off and passive.
