EFEKTIVITAS BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK TEKNIK PSIKODRAMA DALAM MENINGKATKAN RESILIENSI AKADEMIK PADA SISWA DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR RENDAH DI SMK NEGERI 5 SURABAYA
Abstract
This study is motivated by students who face problems related to symptoms of decreased motivation to learn, feelings of stress and anxiety that appear excessively on academic tasks. This study aims to determine how effective group guidance using psychodrama techniques is in increasing academic resilience towards low student achievement. Quantitative method was chosen as the approach method with One Group Pre- test Post-test as the research design. The population used in this study were 80 students consisting of X TITL 1, X TITL 3 and X TSM classes of SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya. Of the 80 students as a population, 8 students were selected to be used as samples. Students who became samples were students from class X TITL 2 at SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya who were taken by purposive sampling technique based on the category of high, medium and low pre-test results. After that the data was analysed with the Wilcoxon test which showed a Z value of -2.524 and Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.012 with a success criterion of <0.05. Taking into account these results proves that the Ha hypothesis is accepted. So when based on the above results, group guidance using psychodrama techniques is effective for increasing academic resilience in students with low learning achievement. The conclusion of this study is that psychodrama techniques can be an effective intervention in increasing academic resilience in students with low learning achievement. This study proves that the application of psychodrama techniques can help learners to increase motivation to learn, reduce feelings of stress and excessive anxiety towards academic tasks that cause low learning achievement. It is recommended that schools can integrate group guidance services using psychodrama techniques in school guidance and counselling programs so that learners can maintain academic resilience under any conditions
