PENGEMBANGAN “NAPZA EDU CARD” SEBAGAI INFORMASI ANCAMAN BAHAYA NARKOBA PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 9 SURABAYA
Abstract
Drug abuse (narcotics, psychotropics, and other addictive substances) among adolescents is a serious issue that requires preventive efforts through guidance and counseling services with different and more interactive strategies. This study aims to develop a website-based media called “Napza Edu Card” as information on the dangers of drugs for 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 9 Surabaya and to test the acceptability of this media. This study uses the research and development (R&D) method with the Borg & Gall model simplified by the Puslitjaknov team, which includes the stages of research and data collection, planning, development of the preliminary product, initial testing, and product revision. The research subjects consisted of content experts, media experts, prospective practitioner users (guidance and counseling teachers), and student representatives from the 11th grade. The data collection technique used a questionnaire instrument for validation tests covering aspects of usefulness, feasibility, accuracy, and appropriateness. The research results showed that the media “Napza Edu Card” received a rating of very suitable from all validators in the quantitative data and met the acceptability criteria, while in the qualitative data, an empty format was provided for suggestions and input from the validators, where content experts, media experts, and prospective users/practitioner counselors gave suggestions, which were then used by the researcher to improve the product. Thus, this media is considered capable of presenting information from game mode features and material menus related to the dangers of drugs in an interactive, engaging, and easily understandable way for students, and can be used as a supporting medium for guidance counselors when providing services, whether in classical or group guidance, as well as an information medium that can enhance students' understanding and awareness of the dangers of drugs.
