PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR ANTARA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT FACILITATOR EXPLAINING DAN KONVENSIONAL PADA MATA PELAJARAN KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN DI SMK NEGERI 2 BOJONEGORO

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membedakan hasil belajar siswa antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator Explaining dan pembelajaran konvensional. Latarbelakang penelitian ini dilihat dari kondisi di SMK Negeri 2 Bojonegoro yang sebagian besar masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensioanl atau ceramah dan pemberian tugas yang terkadang tidak menarik siswa, sehingga saat evaluasi setelah materi disampaikan hasil belajar yang diperoleh tidak memuaskan dan nilainya dibawah criteria ketuntasan materi (KKM) yaitu 75.

Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Bojonegoro, dengan sampel penelitian adalah kelas X TGB 1 untuk kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator Explaining dengan jumlah sampel adalah 32 siswa dan X TGB 2 untuk kelas kontrol  yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional dengan jumlah sampel adalah 32 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu latihan soal hasil belajar tes kognitif (K3) untuk nilai pendukung pengamatan diambil penilaian sikap spiritual (K1), sikap sosial (K3).

Hasil uji persyaratan untuk normalitas kelas eksperimen diperoleh Chi Kuadrat_hitung= 6.06 < Chi Kuadrat_tabel= 11.07 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol diperoleh Chi Kuadrat_hitung = 9.59 < Chi Kuadrat_tabel= 11.07 pada taraf kesalahan α 5%, maka kedua kelas dinyatakan berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan untuk uji homogenitas didapat F_hitung= 1.02 < F_tabel = 1.08, maka sampel dinyatakan homogen. Untuk hasil uji hipotesis didapat t_tabel= 2.007 < t_hitung= 2.35 dengan taraf kesalahan kesalahan α = 5%, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi kesimpulannya, bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar secara signifikan antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator Explaining dan pembelajaran konvensional.

This research is an experimental research. Which aims to differentiate student learning outcomes between cooperative learning model Student Facilitator Explaining and conventional learning. This thinking in the wake of the conditions at SMK Negeri 2 Bojonegoro mostly using conventional learning models or giving lectures and assignments that sometimes does not attract students, so that the material submitted during the evaluation after learning the results obtained are not satisfactory and the value of the material under the criteria of completeness (KKM) is 75.

The population in this study was a class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Bojonegoro, the study sample is a class X TGB 1 and X TGB 2 school year 2013/2014. The number of samples for the experimental class using cooperative learning model Explaining Student Facilitator (X TGB 1) is 32 students. And for the control class that uses the conventional learning (X TGB 2) is 32 students . Methods of data collection is the spiritual attitude assessment (KI) , social assessment (K2) , and cognitive tests (K3) .

To test for normality obtained experimental class Chi Kuadrat_count= 6.06<Chi Kuadrat_table= 11.07, while for the control class obtained Chi Kuadrat_count= 9.59<Chi Kuadrat_table= 11.07 at standard error α = 5 %, then the second class is declared normal distribution. In the homogeneity obtained F_count= 1.02<F_table= 1:08 , then the sample is declared homogeneous. Test hypotheses derived t_table= 2.007<t_count= 2.35 at standard error α = 5 %, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. So in conclusion, that there are differences in learning outcomes significantly between cooperative learning model Explaining Student Facilitator and conventional learning.
