PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TAI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN ILMU BANGUNAN KELAS X TGB DI SMKN 1 KOTA MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sesuai dengan permasalahan  rendahnya aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Ilmu Bangunan, serta guru belum melakukan variasi model pembelajaran sehingga membuat sebagian siswa merasa malas dan kurang merespon dalam proses pembelajaran Ilmu bangunan secara aktif. Hal ini disebabkan pembelajaran kurang melibatkan kerjasama siswa. Sehingga menyebabkan siswa sulit memahami materi yang disampaikan dan mempengaruhi pencapaian hasil belajar Ilmu bangunan yang diperoleh siswa kelas X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Kota Mojokerto tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 kurang maksimal. Oleh karena itu perlu model pembelajaran baru untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu bangunan, salah satunya melalui penerapan model pembelajaran TAI (Team Assisted Individualization).

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang pelaksanaannya dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu : rencana tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sebagai subjek dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa Kelas X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Kota Mojokerto tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 33 siswa. Data tentang hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan pengamatan guru dan siswa terhadap model pembelajaran yang diterapkan.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) pada siswa Kelas X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Kota Mojokerto tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yaitu pada siklus I rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 45% kemudian naik menjadi 76% pada siklus II,  pengamatan guru juga terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I mencapai 2.71 dan meningkat siklus II mencapai 3.18, dan pengamatan pada siklus I mencapai 2.90 dan meningkat pada siklus II mencapai 3.05.

This study was carried out in accordance with the problem of low activity of students in the learning process Science Building, as well as the teacher has not made a variation model of learning that makes some students feel lazy and less responsive in building science learning process actively. This is due to lack of learning involves the cooperation of students. Thus causing difficult students understand the material presented and affect the achievement of learning outcomes obtained building science class X TGB 3 SMK 1 Mojokerto 2014/2015 school year less than the maximum. There fore it needs a new learning model to improve the learning outcomes of Science building, one of them through the application of learning models TAI (Team Assisted Individualization).

This research is a class act that the implementation is done in two cycles consisting of four phases, namely: a plan of action, action, observation, and reflection. As the subject of a class action research are students of Class X TGB 3 SMK 1 Mojokerto 2014/2015 school year as many as 33 students. Data on student learning outcomes were collected through achievement test and observation of teachers and students towards learning model applied.

The results showed that, the implementation of cooperative learning model of TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) to students of Class X TGB 3 SMK 1 Mojokerto 2014/2015 school year can improve student learning outcomes, namely in the first cycle the average obtained was 45% then rose to 76% in the second cycle, the observation of teachers was also an increase in the first cycle reached 2.71 and increased cycle II reached 3.18 and the observation in the first cycle reached 2.90 and increased in the second cycle reaches 3.05.
