PENERAPAN PENILAIAN KOMPETENSI MEMBUAT MEJA KAYU SISWA JURUSAN KONSTRUKSI KAYU SMK NEGERI 1 SAWOO

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh siswa belum bisa maksimal dalam membuat kayu menjadi barang seperti membuat meja kayu. Jurusan Teknik Konstruksi Kayu SMK Negeri 1 Sawoo para siswanya juga dituntut dan diharuskan untuk ahli dalam bidang perkayuan, baik dari segi teori pengetahuan maupun keterampilan berupa praktik. Penerapan instrumen penilaian proses dan produk berupa meja ini nantinya akan mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa dalam penerapan penilaian kompetensi membuat meja kayu.

Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif adalah suatu penelitian yang menggambarkan dan menyebabkan keadaan nyata di lapangan agar didasarkan pada fakta-fakta yang ada pada materi praktik membuat meja kayu, sehingga menjadi sebuah penelitian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI Program Studi Keahlian Teknik Kontruksi Kayu di SMK Negeri 1 Sawoo, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh Kelas XI TKK A sejumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa job sheet dan instrumen penilaian. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam menentukan hasil produk  adalah menggunakan metode tes unjuk kerja. Penilai dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu penilai dari pihak SMK Negeri 1 Sawoo (internal) dan penilai dari pihak Universitas Negeri Surabaya (eksternal).

Penyajian data yang disajikan adalah mendiskripsikan langkah-langkah membuat instrumen  penilaian kompetensi membuat meja kayu dan mendeskripsikan prestasi belajar siswa dalam penerapan penilaian kompetensi membuat meja kayu. Hasil validasi job sheet       dan instrumen penilaian sudah memenuhi kriteria menurut validator kemudian siap untuk diujikan. Hasil praktik membuat meja kayu para siswa adalah nilai proses dan nilai produk yang mempunyai prosentase sama kemudian dibagi 2 dan selanjutnya didapat nilai keseluruhan tiap siswa. Hasil penilaian praktik siswa dalam membuat meja kayu  memperoleh rata-rata kelas 84 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 20 siswa kelas Teknik Konstruksi Kayu SMK Negeri 1 Sawoo. Hasil belajar siswa memperoleh rata-rata kelas di atas KKM.

This research is motivated by the students who can’t optimally make wood into goods such as making wooden table. Departement of Wood Construction Techniques SMK Negeri 1 Sawoo student are also required and are required to experts in the field of timber, both in terms of the theory of knowledge and skills in the form of practice. Application of the process of assessment instruments and products in the form of this table aims to determine student achievement in the application judging the competence to make a wooden table.

This research is quantitative descriptive research is a study that describes and causes the real situation on the ground to be based on facts that exist in the material practice of making wooden tables, so it becomes a study. The research was conducted in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. The population in this study were all students of class XI Program Technical Expertise in Wood Construction SMK Negeri 1 Sawoo, while the sample is whole Class XI TKK A number of 20 students. The research instrument used in the form of job sheets and assessment instruments. The data collection techniques such as the methods used in determining the outcome of the product is using the test method performance. Assessor 2 is divided into party evaluator SMK Negeri 1 Sawoo (internal) and assessors from the State University of Surabaya (external).

Presentation of the data presented is to describe the steps to make the instrument competency assessment made wooden table and describe student achievement in the implementation of competency assessment made wooden table. The results of the validation job sheet and assessment instruments already meet the criteria by a validator is then ready to be tested. The results of the practice of making a wooden table students is the value of the process and value of products that have the same percentage and divided by 2 and then gained the overall value of each student. The results of student assessment practices in making wooden desks earned an average grade 84 by the number of students by 20 graders Wood Construction Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Sawoo.
