PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA MAKET PADA KOMPETENSI DASAR MENGKATEGORIKAN MACAM-MACAM PEKERJAAN KONSTRUKSI PENUTUP ATAP BAGI SISWA KELAS X TGB SMK NEGERI 1 SIDOARJO

Abstract

Hasil observasi di SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, pada materi pembelajaran konstruksi penutup atap siswa kurang berminat karena materi yang banyak  serta  tidak adanya ringkasan materi dan kurangnya media pembelajaran. Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan dan diamati langsung oleh siswa adalah media maket. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kelayakan pengembangan media maket, hasil belajar dan respon siswa terhadap media maket. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan media maket, mengetahui hasil belajar dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media maket.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Rancangan metode penelitian dan pengembangan terdiri dari 10 langkah tetapi dalam penelitian ini hanya menggunakan 6 langkah yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain dan uji coba desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TGB 3 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, tes dan angket respon siswa. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dan pengembangan media maket sebelum digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di kelas X TGB 3, tes dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan media maket dan pengisian angket ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap  media maket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menganalisis hasil validasi, menganalisis hasil belajar dan menganalisis respon siswa terhadap media maket.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan pengembangan media maket yang terdiri dari aspek materi, ilustrasi, kualitas tampilan media dan daya tarik mendapat skor rata-rata 4,32. Skor rata-rata 4,32 berada pada nilai A interval 4,32>4,20 kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa kelas X TGB 3 secara individu sudah mencapai KKM 75 namun secara klasikal sebesar 56,25% belum mencapai 75%. Sedangkan hasil skor rata-rata respon siswa terhadap media maket sebesar 4,17 dengan inteval 4,17≥3+0,67 kategori sangat tinggi/sangat positif.

Observations at SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, on the learning material of construction, roofing students less interested because the material a lot as well as the absence of a summary of the material and the lack of media of instruction. One of the media that can be used and observed directly by the students is a medium scale. Formulation of the problem in this research is the feasibility of the development of a medium scale model, the results of the study and student response scale against the media. The purpose of this research is to know the feasibility of development of medium scale, learned of the results of learning and knowing the student response scale against the media.

This type of research is research and development. The design methods of research and development consists of 10 steps, but in this research uses only 6 steps i.e. potential and problems, information collection, product design, design validation, revision of design and test design. The population in this research is the class  X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo. While the sample in this research is the class X TGB 3 of 32 people. Research instrument used is sheet validation, test and question form student response. Data capture technique used is sheet validation aims to find out the feasibility study and development of media device scale before use, as a medium of instruction in class X TGB 3, tests are done to find out the results of learning students after learning to use media scale model and charging the now aims to know the student response scale against the media. Data analysis technique is used to analyze the results of the validation study, analyze the results and analyze the response of the students against the media scale model.

The results of this study indicate that the feasibility of the development of a medium scale model consisting of a material aspect, illustration, display quality and appeal of the media got an average score of 4.32. Score average is at A grade 4.32 interval 4.32 > 4.20 categories very well. Learning outcomes students class X TGB 3 individually have reached 75 but the KKM classical amounted to 56.25% have not reached 75%. While the results average score student response against media mockup of 4.17 with interval 4.17 ≥ 3 + 0.67 category very high/very positive.
