PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN DI SMKN 1 MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan adalah dengan membuat inovasi-inovasi baru selama proses belajar mengajar seperti penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan di SMKN 1 Mojokerto, Berdasarkan hasil informasi dari guru SMKN 1 Mojokerto, menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang didapatkan kurang dipahami karena model pembelajaran yang di terapkan di SMKN 1 Mojokerto masih kebanyakan menggunakan ceramah, juga salah satu faktor penyebab pembelajaran berlangsung kurang menarik dan membosankan sehingga mengakibatkan hasil belajar menjadi rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan di SMKN 1 Mojokerto.

Penelitian ini mengunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) atau biasa disebut Classroom Action Research (CAR) dikatakan PTK karena dilaksanakan didalam kelas untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TGB 3 di SMK Negeri 1 Mojokerto semester gasal 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan di SMKN Negeri 1 Mojokerto tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yaitu pada siklus I rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 68.75% kemudian naik menjadi 84.72% pada siklus II, pengamatan guru pada siklus I mencapai 3.47 dan meningkat siklus II mencapai 4.03 kategori baik, dan pengamatan siswa pada siklus I mencapai 3.73 dan meningkat pada siklus II mencapai 3.80 kategori baik.

Abstract

One effort to improve the quality of education is to create new innovations during the learning process as learning model application picture and picture on learning outcomes of students on the subjects of building construction in SMKN 1 Mojokerto, Based on the information from the teacher SMKN 1 Mojokerto, shows that student learning results obtained are poorly understood because of the learning model that applied in SMKN 1 Mojokerto still mostly using lecture, also one of the causes of learning takes place less attractive and boring, resulting in learning outcomes to be low. The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes by learning model application picture and picture on learning outcomes of students on the subjects of building construction in SMKN 1 Mojokerto.

This study uses classroom action research (PTK) or so-called Classroom Action Research (CAR) said PTK because it was done in the classroom to determine student learning outcomes. objectives in this study were students of class X TGB 3 in SMKN 1 Mojokerto odd semester 2016/2017.The results of this study indicate that, application of learning models picture and picture on learning outcomes of students on the subjects of building construction at SMKN 1 Mojokerto in the academic year 2016/2017 can improve student learning outcomes is the first cycle the average obtained is 68.75% and rising became 84.72% in the second cycle, the observation of teachers in the first cycle reaches 3:47 and 4:03 rising cycle II reached either category, and observations of students in the first cycle reaches 3.73 and increase in cycle II reached 3.80 both categories.
