PENERAPAN E-MODUL BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN GAMBAR KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN KELAS XI TGB SMK NEGERI 1 SIDOARJO

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan atas dasar rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas XI TGB pada pelajaran gambar konstruksi bangunan. Dalam penerapan pembelajaran guru menggunakan metode ceramah dengan demikian perlu penelitian untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan dari penelitian adalah : (1) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada penerapan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada mata pelajaran gambar konstruksi bangunan kelas XI TGB SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, (2) untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan kegiatan mengajar guru di kelas dengan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada mata pelajaran gambar konstruksi bangunan kelas XI TGB SMK Negeri 1Sidoarjo, (3) untuk mengetahui kegiatan belajar siswa di kelas dengan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada mata pelajaran gambar konstruksi bangunan kelas XI TGB SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo.

Penelitian ini  merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TGB 1 SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo berjumlah 36 siswa dan guru mata pelajaran gambar konstruksi bangunan kelas XI. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar siswa, lembar observasi kegiatan mengajar guru dan lembar observasi kegiatan belajar siswa.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat dalam penerapan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yaitu pada siklus 1 nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 78,06 dan pada siklus 2 nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 85. (2) hasil kegiatan mengajar guru dapat meningkat dalam penerapan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yaitu pada siklus 1 rerata sebesar 2,88 dengan kategori cukup baik  dan pada siklus 2 memperoleh rerata sebesar 3,80 dengan kategori baik. (3) hasil kegiatan belajar siswa dapat meningkat dalam penerapan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yaitu pada siklus 1 memperoleh rerata sebesar 3,02 dengan kategori cukup baik dan pada siklus 2 memperoleh rerata sebesar 3,62 dengan kategori baik.

Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada penerapan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada mata pelajaran gambar konstruksi bangunan di kelas XI TGB 1 SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo. (2) Terdapat peningkatan hasil kegiatan  mengajar guru pada penerapan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL). (3) Terdapat peningkatan hasil kegiatan belajar siswa pada penerapan e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL).

This research applied based on the low of student learning result of TGB tenth grade student of on Building Constructiondrawings subject. Factors that affect the student’s low mastery of material as the effect of old method’s usage in delivering the material and assigment it makes student envinsage that building construction drawing lesson, especially drawing foundation sub-bab become a bored lesson to learn, trough the application of e-module Problem Based Learning (PBL). The purpose of this research were : (1) to know the increasing of student’s after the implementation of e-module with problem based learning as the basist of building construction drawing subject XI TGB class of SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, (2) to know teacher’s activity of e-module with problem based learning as the basist of building construction drawing subject XI TGB class of SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, (3) to know student’s learning activities of e-module with problem based learning as the basist of building construction drawing subject XI TGB class of SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo.

This was a class action research which conducted for two cycles. Research subject were tenth grades students of SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo that maunted of 36 students and tenth grade building construction drawing teacher. Instrumen which applied were student learning, result, observation sheet and teacher activity observation sheet and student learning, activity observation sheet. Data collecting technique which applied were test, techer instruction activity observation method, and learning activity observation method.

Research result showed that: (1) student learning result of e-module with problem based learning as the basist on first cycle with class score mean as big as 78,06 and second cycle class score mean as big as 85. (2) teacher’s instruction activity result obtained 2,88and on second cycles was 3,80. (3) students’s learning result of e-module with problem based learning as the basist in first cycle mean as big as 3,02 and second cycles was 3,62.

The research conclusion were: (1) there was an improvement on student result of e-module with problem based learning as the basist of building construction drawing subject XI TGB class of SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo. (2) there was an improvement on teacher instruction activity in implementation of e-module with problem based learning as the basist. (3) there was improvement on student’s result of e-module with problem based learning as the basist.
