PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION (TAI) PADA MATERI PELAKSANAAN PEMASANGAN PONDASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X GAMBAR BANGUNAN SMK NEGERI 2 SURABAYA

Abstract

Penelitian di SMKN 2 Surabaya berdasarkan dari hasil belajar siswa kelas X GB 3 yang belum tuntas. Hal ini disebkan oleh pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru sering bersifat teacher centere, masih cenderung konvensional. Oleh sebab itu, aktivitas dan kreativitas siswa sangat rendah mengikuti pembelajaran. Berdasarkan dari masalah yang ada, maka perlu ada solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran, untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Diharapkan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI hasil belajar siswa menjadi lebih baik.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X GB 3 Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMKN 2 Surabaya Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.

Hasil penelitian kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil validasi silabus didapat persentase 92%, Rencana Perangkat Pembelajaran 90% dan materi sebesar 90%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa, perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria sangat valid. Keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran TAI terdapat peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu 1,60 dengan kriteria kurang baik menjadi 3,46 dengan kriteria baik. Hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan ketuntasan klasikal 52% menjadi 90%. Pada siklus I persentase nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 52% dengan kriteria tidak tuntas  atau ≤ 75%. Sedangkan pada siklus II persentase nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 90% dengan kriteria tuntas atau ≥ 75%. Maka dapat disimpulkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The research in SMKN 2 Surabaya is based on the result of the study of the students of X class of unfinished Building Drawings. This is caused by the lessons used by teachers are often teacher centric, still tend to be conventional. Therefore, the activity and creativity of students is very low following the learning. Based on the existing problems, then there needs to be a solution to overcome the problem by applying cooperative learning model type Team Assisted Individualization. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of learning models, to determine student learning outcomes. It is expected that with the implementation of cooperative learning model TAI type student learning outcomes become better.

The research method used is Class Action Research which consists of 2 cycles. Subjects in this study were the students of class X Building Drawings Program Building Materials Engineering skills SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya Year 2016/2017.

The results of feasibility study of learning tools based on the results of validation syllabus get percentage 92%, Learning Device Plan 90% and material by 90%. This indicates that, the learning device meets the criteria is very valid. The implementation of the TAI learning model has increased from cycle I to cycle II that is 1.60 with the criterion less good to 3.46 with good criteria. Student learning outcomes increase with classical completeness 52% to 90%. In cycle I the percentage of the average score of students is 52% with incomplete criteria or ≤ 75%. While in cycle II the percentage of the average value of students is 90% with a complete criterion or ≥ 75%. So it can be concluded the application of cooperative learning model type Assisted Individualization Team can improve student learning outcomes.
