PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE PADA STANDAR KOMPETENSI MENGGUNAKAN PERALATAN TANGAN PEKERJAAN KONTRUKSI KAYU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X TKK DI SMKN 3 JOMBANG

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran yang digunakan masih menggunakan metode konvensional atau hanya berpusat pada guru, maka dalam penelitian digunakan model pembelajaran inovatif yaitu model pembelajaran picture and picture untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Penelitian ini merupakan “Pre-Experimental Designs” dengan jenis One Group Pre-test dan Pos-test Design. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas x TKK dengan jumlah 32 siswa.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran model picture and picture memperoleh nilai rata-rata Silabus 80%. RPP memperoleh nilai rata-rata 82,5%. Materi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 83,64%. Soal tes memperoleh nilai rata-rata 80%, sehingga perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan layak digunakan untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar. Keterlaksanaan pengajaran guru memperoleh skor rata-rata keterlaksanaan yaitu 96,68% dan aktivitas siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata keterlaksanaan yaitu 92,49%. Berdasarkan kategori tersebut maka keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model picture and picture terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa rerata hasil belajar pretest 31,41% sehingga belum mencapai ketuntasan karena hasil belajar masih dibawah KKM 75. Setelah dilaksanakan proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rerata hasil belajar siswa posttest 85,94% dengan rata-rata N-gain 0,79% yang berkategori tinggi. Dengan demikian secara keseluruhan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

The background of this research is the learning process used is still using conventional method or just centered on the teacher, the research used innovative learning model that is the model of learning picture and picture to improve student learning outcomes.

This research is "Pre-Experimental Designs" with type One Group Pre-test and Pos-test Design. The time of study was conducted in the academic year of 2016/2017. The sample in this study is class x TKK with the number of 32 students.

The results showed that the learning device picture and picture model obtained the average value of 80% Syllabus. The RPP earns an average of 82.5%. The material obtained an average score of 83.64%. About the test obtained an average score of 80%, so that learning devices declared eligible for use for teaching and learning activities. The implementation of teachers' teaching obtained an average score of 96.68% and student activity got an average score of 92.49%. Based on these categories, the learning execution using the picture and picture model is done very well. The result of student learning showed that the average of pretest learning result 31,41% so that has not reached completeness because result of study still below KKM 75. After implemented learning process using model study of picture and picture show an increase of mean result of student learning posttest 85,94% Average N-gain 0.79 is categorized as high. Thus the overall learning outcomes of students have increased.
