Abstract

Abstract

Practice Learning at Vocational High School plays a very important role, Because through learning practice students can master the skills of work optimally. This research was conducted to know the difference of students learning outcomes between the learning of Training Within Industry and conventional learning in the eyes of technical drawings in SMKN 1 Kalianget.

This study included experimental research with the model "Posttest-Only Control Design". This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Kalianget, majoring in Building Drawing Technique and research time was conducted in the even semester of academic year 2014/2015. The population is TGB students and the sample is class XI TGB 1 with the number of 33 students and students of class XI TGB 2 with a total of 34 students. The research instrument used is the result of the learning test and the learning device's validation sheet. The data analysis technique used is with two-t test.

The result of experimental class normality test shows χ2count = 3.32 ≤ χ2table = 11,070, while the control class shows χ2count = 7,11 ≤ χ2table = 11,070, then the distribution of the two sample data is stated normal distribution. Homogeneity test results show Fcount = 1.26 ≤ Ftable = 1.84, it can be concluded that the sample data is homogeneous. Student learning outcomes with learning model Training Within Industry obtained an average score of 83.91, and student learning outcomes with conventional learning model obtained an average score of 76.44. The result of hypothesis test using t-test of two parties shows that tcount = 2,467 ≥ ttabel = 1,997, meaning H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. It was concluded that there were differences in students' learning outcomes between the learning of Training Within Industry and conventional learning on the subject of Technical Image Training at SMKN 1 Kalianget.
