PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA MATERI PONDASI KELAS X TGB I SMK NEGERI 1 MADIUN

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang berdasar pada masalah-masalah yang dihadapi siswa terkait dengan kompetensi dasar yang sedang dipelajari siswa. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah ini ditujukan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir siswa untuk memecahkan masalah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, kegiatan belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian One Shot Case Study. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental Design. Subyek penelitian adalah kelas X TGB 1 SMK Negeri 1 Madiun dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2015-2016. Data dikumpulkan melalui validasi, observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, silabus mendapatkan persentase 85.94%, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) mendapatkan persentase 85.50%, materi mendapatkan persentase 87.50%, lembar soal belajar siswa mendapatkan persentase 88.46%. Artinya, perangkat pembelajaran sudah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan.

Hasil pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada pertemuan I mendapatkan nilai 79.37 (1-100), sedangkan pada pertemuan II mendapatkan nilai 81.87. Hasil pengamatan kegiatan belajar siswa pada pertemuan I mendapatkan nilai 77.22, sedangkan pada pertemuan II mendapatkan nilai 78.22. Hasil belajar siswa pada pertemuan I mendapatkan nilai rata-rata kelas 76.50, sedangkan pada pertemuan II mendapatkan nilai rata-rata kelas 78.33. Jumlah siswa yang dinyatakan tidak tuntas yaitu 6 siswa atau 20.00% dari jumlah 30 siswa, sedangkan jumlah siswa yang dinyatakan tuntas yaitu 24 siswa atau 80.00%.

Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berpengaruh positif terhadap keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, kegiatan belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa, hal ini dikarenakan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning tersebut siswa dituntut lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa diberi contoh permasalahan disekitarnya yang berhubungan dengan materi dan mendiskusikan permasalahan tersebut, sehingga peserta didik dapat dengan mudah mengembangkan pemahaman mereka sendiri.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning is a learning model based on issues facing the students associated with the basic competencies of students being studied. Problem-based learning is intended to develop students ' thinking skills to solve problems. The purpose of this research is to get a device of learning, the implementation of the feasibility study, the learning activities of students and student learning outcomes.

This type of research is the study of One Shot Case Study. The design used in this study is the Pre-Experimental Design. Subject were class X TGB I SMK Negeri 1 Madiun with the number of 30 students. Research was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2015-2016. Data were collected through validation, observation and tests. Based on the validation results, the syllabus earn 81.51% presentation, Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) get a percentage of 85.50%, materi gain percentage 87.50%, booklet learning students get a percentage of 88.46%. That is, the learning device meets the eligibility criteria.

Observations the implementation of the study at a meeting I get score of 79.37 (1-100), while in a attendance II get score 81.87. The observation of learning activities of students at the meeting I get score of 77.22, while in attendance II get a score 78.22. Learning outcomes of students at the meeting I get score of the average 76.50,while in attendance II get score of the average 78.33. The number of students who otherwise did not complete that  students or 20.00% of the total 30 students, while the number of the students who otherwise completed is 24 students or 80.00%.

Based on these result it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning positive effect on implementation of the study, student learning activities and student learning outcomes, this is due to the application of Problem Based Learning students are required to be more active in the learning process,students are given examples of problem surrounding the relate to the material an discussing these problems, so that students can easily develop their own understanding.
