PEMETAAN KEMAMPUAN DASAR MEKANIKA REKAYASA, MENGGAMBAR STRUKTUR BANGUNAN, RENCANA ANGGARAN BIAYA, DAN ILMU UKUR TANAH MAHASISWA DENGAN LATAR BELAKANG SEKOLAH (SMK, SMA, DAN MA) DI PRODI DIPLOMA III (D3) UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SURABAYA

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia adalah hal utama agar sumber daya manusia memiliki ilmu pengetahuan untuk dapat menghadapi tantangan dan tuntutan di dunia kerja. Sekolah menengah atas dan sederajat di Indonesia ada SMA, SMK dan MA bertujuan mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peta kemampuan dasar mahasiswa yang berasal dari SMK, SMA dan MA  pada Program Studi Diploma III  Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Surabaya.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitis deskriptif, peneliti menyajikan data dan menggambarkan seperti apa adanya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Diploma III (D3) angkatan 2011 sampai 2015 dengan jumlah 139 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data dari BAAK, PPTI, dan data transkrip. Data mahasiswa yang diperoleh dikelompokkan berdasar asal sekolah mahasiswa dan data nilai mahasiswa di kelompokkan berdasar kelompok mata kuliah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa angkatan 2011 sampai dengan angkatan 2015 dari asal sekolah SMK berpotensi lebih di ilmu mekanika rekayasa dengan rata-rata tertinggi 3,05 dan menggambar struktur bangunan 3,05. Mahasiswa dari asal sekolah SMA dan MA berpotensi lebih di ilmu rencana anggaran biaya dan ilmu ukur tanah dengan rata-rata tertinggi 3,51 dari SMA dan 3,55 dari MA.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is the main thing for human resources have the knowledge to be able to face challenges and demands in the world of work. Senior high school and equivalent in Indonesia there SMA, SMK and MA aims to develop science. The purpose of this research is to find out the basic ability map of students coming from SMK, SMA and MA on Diploma III Program of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, State University of Surabaya.

This research is a descriptive analytical research, the researcher presents the data and describes as it is. The subjects of this study are Diploma III (D3) students of 2011 to 2015 with 139 students. This study was conducted by collecting data from BAAK, PPTI, and transcript data. Student data obtained are grouped based on the origin of the student's school and the student's score data are grouped by group of subjects. The results showed that the students of the class of 2011 up to the class of 2015 from the origin of the vocational school potentially more in engineering science engineering with the highest average of 3.05 and drawing the building structure of 3.05. Students from high school and MA origins have more potential in the science of cost and land sciences plans with the highest average of 3.51 from SMA and 3.55 from MA
