PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE PRACTICE-REHEARSAL PAIRS DENGAN MEDIA MAKET PADA MATERI PELAJARAN KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN ATAP DAN KUDA-KUDA KAYU SISWA KELAS X TGB DI SMK NEGERI 1 SIDOARJO

Metode pembelajaran aktif tipe Practice Rehearsal Pairs metode sederhana yang dapat dipakai untuk mempraktekkan suatu ketrampilan atau produser dengan teman belajar. Tujuannya adalah untuk meyakinkan masing-masing pasangan dapat melakukan ketrampilan dengan benar. Materi-materi yang bersifat psikomotorik adalah materi yang baik untuk diajarkan dengan metode ini. Dengan metode practice-rehearsal pair (praktek berpasangan) diharapkan siswa mampu memahami materi pelajaran.

Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one shot case study. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilaksanakan di SMK N 1 Sidoarjo pada pada semester genap 2016-2017. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah satu kelas eksperimen kelas X TGB 1 sebayak 36 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran, lembar observasi pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan menganalisa kelayakan perangkat, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, hasil belajar, dan uji hipotesis dengan uji-t pihak kiri.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata rating sebesar 92%, termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan metode pembelajaran aktif tipe Practice Rehearsal Pairs prosentase keterlaksanaan sebesar 86%, termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 80,69 dengan t hitung sebesar 1,750, nilai t tabel 1,690 dan derajat kebebasan sebesar 5%, maka H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak.

Abstract

Active learning method Practice Rehearsal Pairs type of simple method that can be used to practice a skill or producer with a friend learn. The goal is to make sure each pair can perform the skills properly. Psychomotor material is a good material to be taught by this method. With the practice-rehearsal pair method (paired practice), students are expected to be able to understand the subject matter.

The research design used in this research is one shot casestudy. Implementation of research conducted in SMK N 1 Sidoarjo in the even semester 2016-2017. The sample in this research is one class experiment class X TGB 1 with total of 36 students. The research instrument used consisted of learning device validation sheet, observation sheet of instructional learning observation, and test of learning result. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis by analyzing the feasibility of the device, the implementation of learning, learning outcomes, and hypothesis testing with left-t test.

The results showed that the feasibility of the learning device obtained an average rating of 92%, included in the category is very feasible. Implementation of learning using active learning methods Practice Rehearsal Pairs type of implementation percentage of 86%, included in the category very well. Student learning outcomes show an average value of 80.69 with t arithmetic of 1.750, t value table 1.690 and degrees of freedom of 5%, then H0 accepted and Ha rejected.
