LITERATUR REVIEW : STUDI TENTANG PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING PADA MATA PELAJARAN DASAR - DASAR KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN KELAS X DI SMK

Abstract

Menurut 5 jurnal penelitian terdahulu yang berhasil dikutip terhadap metode pembelajarannya, ternyata Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) sangat penting diterapkan pada abad ke-21 ini karena CTL adalah salah satu metode pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dengan menyambungkan pengetahuan peserta didik dengan kehidupan kesehariannya. Melihat permasalahan yang sering terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran ialah ketidak pahaman peserta didik ketika menerima materi akibat dari belum adanya kemampuan menghubungkan informasi yang diperoleh dari pembelajaran dengan situasi realita nyata. Sehingga, pemilihan model pembelajaran sangat penting untuk dipertimbangkan agar dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran dan terhindar dari sifat negatif peserta didik yaitu ketidak ketertarikan pada materi pembelajaran. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah (1) membandingkan hasil belajar pada penerapan CTL dari 5 artikel terdahulu, (2) membandingkan hasil respon siswa pada penerapan CTL dari 5 artikel terdahulu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui perbadingan hasil belajar pada penerapan CTL dari 5 artikel terdahulu, (2) mengetahui perbandingan respon siswa pada penerapan CTL dari 5 artikel terdahulu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara studi literatur terhadap beberapa hasil penelitian terdahulu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, hasil perbandingan dari hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode CTL didapat hasil yang sangat memuaskan pada mata pelajaran dasar-dasar konstruksi bangunan yaitu pada penelitian Jenni Fransisca kompetensi dasar mengkategorikan macam-macam pekerjaan konstruksi baja dinyatakan paling unggul dalam nilai hasil rata-rata belajar siswa yaitu 87,89 maupun presentase ketuntasan siswa senilai 94,73%. Sedangkan, perbandingan hasil presentase respon siswa pada penelitian Putri Titian Wening yaitu 75 dan Agil Arfodi yaitu 66 masih belum dinyatakan unggul, namun pada penelitian Jenni Fransisca dengan nilai 75,95 sudah termasuk dalam kategori baik sehingga penelitian tersebut dinyatakan paling optimal pada penerapan metode CTL.

Abstract

According to 5 previous research journals that were successfully quoted on the learning method, it turns out that Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is very important to be applied in the 21st century because CTL is a student-centered learning method by connecting the knowledge of students with their daily life. Seeing the problems that often occur in the learning process is the lack of understanding of students when receiving material due to the absence of the ability to connect information obtained from learning with real reality situations. So, choosing a learning model is very important to consider so that it can be applied in learning and avoid the negative nature of students, namely disinterest in learning material. The formulation of the problems in this study were (1) comparing learning outcomes on the application of CTL from the previous 5 articles, (2) comparing the results of student responses to the application of CTL from the previous 5 articles. The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the comparison of learning outcomes on the application of CTL from the previous 5 articles, (2) to determine the comparison of student responses to the application of CTL from the previous 5 articles. The method used is by studying the literature on some of the results of previous studies. Based on the results of data analysis, the comparison results of student learning outcomes by applying the CTL method obtained very satisfying results in the subjects of the basics of building construction, namely in Jenni Fransisca's research, the basic competence of categorizing various types of steel construction work was declared to be the most superior in the average yield value. The student learning average was 87.89 and the percentage of student completeness was 94.73%. Meanwhile, the comparison of the results of the percentage of student responses in Putri Titian Wening's research, namely 75 and Agil Arfodi, namely 66, was still not declared superior, but in Jenni Fransisca's research with a value of 75.95 it was included in the good category so that the research was declared the most optimal in the application of the CTL method.
