ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KONSTRUKSI STATIS TERTENTU BERDASARKAN TAKSONOMI SOLO PLUS PADA KELAS X TGB SMK NEGERI 3 SURABAYA

Abstract

Di SMK mekanika teknik adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib untuk diajarkan. Pada kenyataannya siswa masih menganggapnya sulit, sehingga guru harus memilih strategi yang tepat untuk memahami kesulitan siswa tersebut. Salah satu strategi yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan melihat kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal. Adapun melihat kesalahan dapat menggunakan metode analisis kesalahan dan model taksonomi SOLO (Structure of the Observed Learning Outcome). Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik dan faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berhubungan dengan konstruksi statis tertentu berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO Plus.

Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian deskriptif, karena untuk mendeskripsikan letak kesalahan, penyebab kesalahan dan jenis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berhubungan dengan konstruksi statis tertentu berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO Plus. Subjek sekaligus populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya Kelas X TGB yang berjumlah 36 dan sampel diambil berdasarkan hasil tes mengerjakan soal yaitu 32 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara serta menggunakan metode triangulasi sebagai pengecekan keabsahan data. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan soal tes dan pedoman wawancara.

Berdasarkan hasil tes siswa terbagi menjadi tiga kategori yaitu pertama siswa dengan skor 51-65 termasuk ke dalam level unistructural dengan letak kesalahan tidak menuliskan perihal yang diketahui dan ditanyakan, salah rumus dan perhitungan, serta tidak menuliskan jawaban akhir. Jenis kesalahannya adalah random. Kedua siswa dengan skor 66-80 berada pada level semirelasional dengan letak kesalahan tidak lengkap menuliskan perihal yang diketahui, salah rumus dan tidak lengkap menuliskan jawaban akhir. Jenis kesalahannya adalah random. Yang terakhir siswa dengan skor 81-100 berada pada level relasional dengan letak kesalahan salah perhitungan, rumus, dan tidak lengkap menuliskan jawaban akhir. Jenis kesalahannya adalah kecerobohan. Faktor penyebab kesalahan ketiganya adalah konsep, prinsip, operasi dan acak.

At SMK, engineering mechanics is one of the compulsory subjects to be taught. In fact, students still find them difficult, so teachers have to choose the right strategy to understanding the difficulties of students. One of strategy that can be use is look at the mistakes made by students to solving problems. The error can be seen using the method of error analysis and SOLO taxonomy (Structure of the Observed Learning Outcome) model. Therefore, the aim of this study is to describe the characteristics and students errors causes to solve problems related to the construction of certain static based on SOLO Plus taxonomy.

This research is a descriptive study, due to describe the location of the error, the cause of errors and types of errors students in solve problems related to the construction of certain static based on Plus SOLO taxonomy. Subject and population of this study is students of SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya, TGB X grade as much as 36 students as a sample that took by result of test. Methods of data collection use tests and interviews and using the triangulation method as checking the validity of the data. This research instrument using test questions and interview guides.

Based on the test results of the students are divided into three categories: the first with a score of 51-65 students belonging to the unistructural level, the fault location did not write down a description of the known and asked, wrong formulas and calculations, and did not write down the final answer. Type of mistake is random. Both students with a score of 66-80 at the semirelasional level, the fault location is incomplete write about the known, wrong formula and incomplete write the final answer. Type of mistake is random. The finally are students with a score of 81-100 on a relational level with fault location is calculations, wrong formulas, and not a complete write the final answer. Type of mistake is carelessness. Factors of causes three categories are concepts, principles, operations and random.
