PENERAPAN JOBSHEET PRAKTIKUM SPILLWAY PADA KEMAMPUAN TERAMPIL MAHASISWA TEKNIK SIPIL 2011 DI LABORATORIUM KEAIRAN UNESA

Abstract

Practicum in the Department of Civil Engineering is a mandatory activity Unesa students who have taken , as an effort to bring an understanding of the theory given by faculty in each course . One of them is the subject of Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics . In this lab focuses on the skills to run a laboratory tool in the form of tilling the flume along a spillway sill material , and then the water in the reservoir at the pump through the pipes that channeled on the glass channel to the observed flow patterns before and after passing through the process of spillway .

Jetting process is done with a variety of valve opening ¼ , ½ , ¾ , 1 further observations were made by looking at the increase of water in the channel with the help of a measuring ruler located in the waterway . With power involves students from vocational and high school graduates to run this experiment.

From the observation that varied in the experiment obtained data on the relationship between the depth , so that the time can be calculated speed data that occur in the flow . For the remainder of the data with the help of the excel program generated graphs of patterns that occur in the channel can then be inferred to include the flow of what is happening with the specifications of the equipment used . Furthermore, it can be measured the ability of skilled students participating in the current practice , the results of vocational graduates are 2 of 29 Civil Engineering students who follow lab results did not show practice with the best value .
