Abstract

ABSTRACT
Aerobic and anaerobic capacities need by the coach to determine the physical fitness of athletes before doing an exercise program. Keep in mind that physical fitness is depend on the athletes’ achievement. Usually the coach just makes a general exercise program and some athletes do the same exercise without any differences. Therefore one of research questions in this study is How to maximize the aerobic and anaerobic capacities in young roller skate Puslatcab Sidoarjo’s athletes? The purpose of this study is to get information and data of aerobic and anaerobic maximum capacities in young roller skate Puslatcab Sidoarjo’s athletes that has relation with VO2max and fatigue index so it can gives some suggestions to improve training methods program. This research is a descriptive analysis and the data collection techniques are MFT (Multi Fitness Test) and RAST (Running Anaerobic Sprint Test). The results from each test with the same athlete are: the maximum aerobic capacity of man athlete is 40.06 ml / kg / min in average and for the maximum aerobic capacity of women is 32.6 ml / kg / min in average and standard deviation of man is 7.48 and women is 2.52. In the other hand the maximum anaerobic capacity was 3.31 watt / sec in average and standard deviation is 3. The results, the average of the maximum aerobic capacity for men's category is enough and for women is good. The maximum anaerobic capacity for all young roller skate Puslatcab Sidoarjo’s athletes is enough. By knowing the maximum aerobic and anaerobic capacities of the athletes, the coach can makes an exercise program properly to improve and develop the potential of the athletes.
