Tingkat Kebugaran Calon Anggota Himpunan Mahasiswa Pencinta Alam Universitas Negeri Surabaya Pada Persiapan Pendakian "Red Scarf 3.000 MDPL"

Abstract

Himapala Unesa is an organization engaged in Outdoor Sport, Conservations, and Social Affairs. Himapala Unesa has 5 divisions, namely Mountain Forest, Rock Climbing, Cave Walking, Fast Stream Sport and Diving. Himapala Unesa is highly active in activities such as Outdoor Sports Expeditions, Community Service, and Conservation Activists (Greening and Preserving Coral Reef Ecosystems). The final requirement to become a member is to climb the “Red Scarf 3,000 MASL”.  Himapala Unesa   is currently implementing cardiovascular training virtually due to obstacle of applying the circuit training that used to do to prepare the “Red Scarf” climbing for candidate member. On the other hand, virtual training has a weakness such as less monitored when compared with direct training. The purpose of this research is to find out the fitness level of Himapala Unesa Candidate Member. This research is a descriptive research by using descriptive survey method. The research sample is 12 people, each sample did run test 2.4 km. the result of the research indicates that the candidate member of Himapala Unesa have several classifications such as “Good” frequency = 1 (8.33%), “Enough” frequency = 7 (58.33%), “Moderate” frequency = 4 (33.33%). In conclusion, fitness level of Himpunan Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam Universitas Negeri Surabaya Candidate Member is “Enough” for the “Red Scarf 3.000 MASL” Climbing Preparation.
