Profiling Motivasi dan Aktivitas Fisik Masyarakat Sukodono Sidoarjo
Abstract
Motivation is a psychological aspect that plays an important role in starting and moving sports players. In order to avoid diseases such as obesity, good physical activity is needed. Physical activity is part of a structured and repetitive exercise. Good physical activity is done as much as 150 minutes / week. The general objective of this research is to present data regarding the motivation and quality of physical activity of the people of Sukodono Sidoarjo. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research method. In this study there was a population of 760 people, researchers used a sample of 29 people with ages (18-21 years) sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques through motivational questionnaires and physical activity questionnaires which were distributed directly to the research sample. The results of data analysis obtained an average value of motivation for physical activity of 30.413 (medium category) and an average value of the quality of physical activity 768.675 (medium category). So it can be concluded, that the level of community motivation is in the medium category and the quality of people's physical activities is in the medium category.
