TINGKAT STRES DAN KEBIASAAN MAKAN PENGGUNA FITNESS CENTRE DITINJAU DARI SEX DIFFERENCES

Abstract

Entering the productive age, stress and irregular eating patterns are conditions that are often experienced by adult men and women. This happens due to several factors ranging from work demands, environment, body image, and so on. Exercise is one solution to reduce stress levels and improve healthier eating patterns. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of stress and eating habits of Watanabe Fitness Center users. The research method used in this study was quantitative descriptive, with a sample consisting of 55 men and 25 women. Data collection was done using a questionnaire distributed in Google Forms. The results showed that the level of stress in Watanabe Fitness Center users in the age range of 23-60 years in men had a percentage of 41.8% with a "light" stress level, 58.2% in the "moderate" category, and 0% in the "heavy" stress category. While in female members, the results of the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) showed 28% in the "light" stress category, 56% "moderate," and 16% in the "heavy" stress category. For self-regulation of eating habits in men, the results were low (5.45%), medium (69%), and high (25.45%), while in women it was low (4%), medium (72%), and high (24%).
