PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TSTS (TWO STAY TWO STRAY) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN TEKNIK ELEKTRONIKA DASAR DI SMK NEGERI 1 JETIS MOJOKERTO

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray, dan (2) untuk mengetahui respon siswa pada pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tipe Two Stay Two Stray.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Static Group Comparison, yang termasuk kategori Quasi Experiment. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray), sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) berdasarkan hasil analisis nilai posttes dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh bahwa kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogeny. (2) berdasarkan analisis nilai posttest dengan uji-t satu pihak diperoleh thitung = 6,503 > ttabel = 1,66 (α = 0,05) dengan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen 81,54 dan kelas kontro 78,39 menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. (3) respon siswa terhadap pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray secara keseluruhan adalah positif dengan rata-rata 81,04% dan termasuk kriteria respon sangat baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is : (1) to determine the effect of student learning outcomes using cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray, and (2) to determine students’ responses using cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray.

The method used to achieve that goal is an experimental research method. The study design used was Static Group Comparison, which includes the category of Quasi Experimental Design. Class experiments using cooperative learning model TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray), where as for the control class using direct learning model.

The results was : (1) based on the results of the scores analysis posttest with test for normality and homogeneity obtained that two classes are normally distributed and homogeneous. (2) based on the analysis of the posttest with a test of analysis obtained thitung = 6,503 > ttabel = 1,66 (α = 0,05) with the average value of posttest experimental class is 81,54 and control class is 78,39 indicated that is student learning outcomes that uses cooperative two stay two stray is batter than the student direct learning. (3) students’ responses to the application of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray as a whole is positive with an average of 81,04% and includes a very good response criteria.
