Abstract

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah metode Planted Question dengan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah metode Learning Starts with a Question pada mata pelajaran teknik elektronika dasar, juga untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design, yang termasuk kategori Quasi Experimental Design. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah metode Planted Question, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah metode Learning Starts with a Question.

Dari hasil penelitian ini memberikan hasil yaitu MPBM metode PQ didapat nilai rerata hasil belajar sebesar 87.7691 dengan standart deviasi = 7.30259, sedangkan MPBM metode LSQ didapat nilai rerata hasil belajar sebesar 78.1833 dengan standart deviasi = 7.52279. Jadi rerata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan MPBM metode PQ lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang menerapkan MPBM metode PQ. Dari analisis uji-t didapat nilai thitung = 5,090 > ttabel = 2,00 sehingga dapat disimpulkan rerata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan MPBM metode PQ lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang menerapkan MPBM metode PQ.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to compare the learning outcomes of students using problem based learning model, Planted Question method with the Learning Starts with a Question on basic electronics engineering subjects as well as to find out the activities of students during learning .

The study aims to determine how high the learning outcomes of students using problem based learning model Planted Question method, also to find out how high the learning outcomes of students using problem based learning Learning Starts with a Question method. Then both learning outcomes are compared to get the difference of two results. The method used to achieve that goal is an experimental research method. The study design used was Nonequivalent Control Group Design, which includes the category of Quasi Experimental Design. Class experiments using problem based learning Planted Question method, where as for the control class using problem based  learning  model Learning Starts with a Question method.

From the results of this research the results of which are problem based learning model, Planted Question method gained value – an outcome study is 87.7691 with standard deviation = 7.30259. While using problem based learning Learning Starts with a Question method obtained value outcome study is 78.1833 with  standard deviation = 7.52279. From an analysis of test-t obtained the value thitung =5,090  > ttabel = 2,00 so it can be inferred, the result of problem based learning model, Planted Question method is higher than problem based  learning  model Learning Starts with a Question method.
