Abstract

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan hasil pelaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery dengan bantuan Software PhET terhadap hasil belajar siswa, (2) mendeskripsikan hasil pelaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran langsung dengan bantuan Software PhET terhadap hasil belajar siswa,
(3) Mendeskripsikan perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery dan model pembelajaran langsung dengan bantuan Software PhET, (4) mendeskripsikan tingkat keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery dan model pembelajaran langsung dengan bantuan Software PhET. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi  eksperimen (eksperimen semu) dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent ­control group pretest-posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar. Untuk mengetahui keaktifan siswa digunakan lembar pengamatan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery ranah   kognitif –thitung<–ttabel yaitu - thitung<- ttabel (-22,08<-2,04) dengan nilai rata-rata 83,88, ranah afektif 81,06 dan ranah psikomotor yang Discovery mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 88,87, (2) Hasil belajar yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung ranah kognitif - thitung<- ttabel
(-16,70<-2,03) dengan rata-rata 77,45, ranah afektif mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 76,61 dan ranah psikomotor mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 88,11, (3) Hasil belajar ranah kognitif -thitung<- ttabel (-2,82<-1,99) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 83,88 dan kelas kontrol 77,45. Hasil belajar ranah afektif -thitung<-ttabel (-11,10<-1,998) sehingga terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ranah afektif dengan rata-rata kelas eksperimen 81,06 dan kelas kontrol 76,61, hasil belajar afektif kelas eksperimen lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Pada hasil belajar psikomotor nilai -thitung>-ttabel (0,64>-1,99) nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 88,87 dan kelas kontrol 88,11, (4) Keaktifan siswa pada model pembelajaran guided discovery lebih unggul dengan nilai rata-rata 87,50   dibandingkan keaktifan siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran langsung dengan nilai rata-rata 78,22.

Abstract

This study aim to: (1) describe the results of the implementation of the application of Guided Discovery learning model with the help of Software PhET, (2) describe the results of the implementation of the direct application of learning models with PhET Software, (3) describe the differences in student learning outcomes by implementing learning model Guided Discovery and direct learning model with the help of PhET Software, (4) describe the level of activity of students in learning activities using learning model Guided Discovery and direct learning model with the help of Software PhET.The method used is Quasi experiments (quasi-experimental) research design with non-equivalent group pretest-posttest control. The object of this research is Guided Discovery learning model and direct learning model with the help of software PhET. Data were analyzed using t-test to determine differences in learning outcomes. To determine the activity of students use student observation sheet. The results showed that: (1) The results of Guided Discovery model cognitive learning -tcount <-ttable (-22.08 <-2.04) with an average value of 83.88, affective learning get the average value of 81.06, and Psychomotor learning get the average value of 88.87, (2) The results of direct learning model cognitive has a significance level of 0.00 with - tcount <- ttable (-16.70 <-2.03) with an average of 77.45, affective learning get the average value of 76.61, and psychomotor get the average value of 88.11, (3) The results of cognitive learning -tcount<-ttable (-2.82 <-1.99) with the average value of the experimental class 83 , 88 and the control class 77.45. Affective learning outcomes -tcount <-ttable (-11.10 <-1.998) So that there are differences in the affective domain of learning outcomes with an average grade and grade control experiments 81.06 76.61, affective learning outcomes experimental class is superior compared with the control class. In psychomotor learning outcomes –tcount > -ttable (0.64> -1.99) the average value of 88.87 experimental class and control class 88.11, (4) The active participation of students in guided discovery learning model is superior average of 87.50 activity students with the application of direct learning model with the average 78.22.
