PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN TRAINER PLC UNTUK APLIKASI KONVEYOR SORTIR BENDA METAL DAN NON METAL DI SMK NEGERI 3 SURABAYA

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat trainer dan jobsheet PLC sebagai alat bantu dalam proses pembelajaran pada kompetensi dasar menginstalasi dan mengoprasikan PLC sebagai pengendali sistem otomasi industri.Selain itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dan respon siswa terhadap media yang telah dibuat.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang terdiri dari sepuluh  tahapan, namun dalam penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tujuh tahapan berikut: 1) Analisis Masalah, 2) Pengumpulan data, 3) Desain Produk, 4) Validasi Desain, 5) Revisi Desain, 6) Uji Coba Produk, dan 7) Analisa dan Pelaporan. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan trainer dan jobsheet PLC yang telah dibuat diperoleh dari hasil validasi oleh 4 validator dan respon siswa untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap media tersebut.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa, penilaian oleh validator terhadap media trainer pada keseluruhan aspek dinyatakan sangat baik dengan rata-rata hasil rating sebesar 85,8%, dan penilaian terhadap media jobsheet pada keseluruhan aspek dinyatakan baik dengan rata-rata hasil rating sebesar 80%. Respon siswa pada keseluruhan aspek yang terdapat didalam media trainer dan jobsheet dinyatakan baik dengan rata-rata hasil rating sebesar 83,96%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa trainer dan jobsheet PLC yang dihasilkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to make a trainer and job sheet PLC as a tool in the learning process on the basic competence to install the PLC as controller of industrial automation systems, and operate the

PLC as controller of industrial automation systems. In addition this study was conducted to determine the feasibility and students' response to the media that has been made.

The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R & D) consisting of ten stages, but in this study is only done until seven the following steps: 1) Analysis of the Problem, 2) The collection of data, 3) Product Design, 4) Validation of Design, 5) Revision of Design, 6) Testing from Products, and 7) Analysis and Reporting. To determine the feasibility of trainer and job sheet PLC, it was known from the validation results obtained by 4 validator and student responses about the media.

Based on the conclusion of this study, the assessment by a validator to the media trainer on all aspects of otherwise very well with an average rating of 85.8% results, and an assessment of the overall media job sheet otherwise good aspect with an average rating of 80% results . Student responses on all aspects contained in the media trainer and job sheet, expressed both with an average rating of 83.96% results. Those results show that the PLC trainer and the job sheet are proper to be used as learning media.
