PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN METODE SNOWBALL THROWING PADA STANDAR KOMPETENSI MEMPERBAIKI SISTEM PENERIMA TELEVISI DI SMK NEGERI 2 SURABAYA

Latar belakang diadakannya penelitian ini adalah masih digunakannya model pembelajaran langsung pada lembaga pendidikan. Pada model pembelajaran langsung, siswa kurang dituntut untuk menguasai materi secara aktif sehingga berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa. Pada pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan metode Snowball Throwing, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan siswa dapat belajar secara aktif.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). dalam penelitian ini terdapat 7 (tujuh) tahapan yaitu : (1) tahap analisi masalah, (2) tahap pengumpulan data, (3) tahap desain produk, (4) tahap validasi desain, (5) tahap revisi desain, (6) tahap uji produk dan (7) tahap analisa dan pelaporan.Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan pada metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dinyatakan baik dengan hasil rating 74,185% dan respon siswa terhadap pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dinyatakan baik dengan hasil rating 82,85%. Rata-rata Hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 80,981% dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 71,635%. Sedangkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t didapat nilai t hitung 3,501 dan t tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% (0,05) adalah 1,67. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelas yang menggunakan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing mempunyai nilai hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung.

Abstract

Background of this research is still the use of direct learning models in institute education. In the direct learning model, students are required to master the material is less active so that have an in with the result learn the student. At development of study peripheral use the method of study Snowball Throwing, expected can improve the result learn the student and student can learn actively.Research method is using research and development (R & D). In research there are seven stages ) namely: (1) the stage analisi problem, (2) the stage data, (3) the stage design a product, (4) the stage validation design, (5) the stage revision design, (6) the step of experiment products and (7) phase analysis and reporting.The tests show that the development of learning tools using the learning method of Snowball Throwing is declared good with the results of 74,185% rating and students response to development of learning tools using Snowball Throwing otherwise good learning model with the rating of 82.85%. The average results of student learning in the classroom experiment at 80,981% and the average value of the control class at 71,635%. While the calculations obtained using t test t value 3.501 and t tables at the significant level of 5% (0.05) is 1,67.  Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the class that uses the development of learning tools using a method of the Snowball Throwing has the value of learning a better learning results than the class using direct learningmodels.
