Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar menggunakan pendekatan CTL model kooperatif tipe think-pair-share. Sasaran penelitian yaitu kelas XI AV di SMKN 3 Surabaya semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah “Desain Penelitian (Quasi-Experimental Desaign) : The Pretest – Posttest Equivalent Groups”.

Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui hasil belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif yang dinyatakan dalam persentase. Perlakuan pertama yaitu menunjukkan proses pembelajaran sebelum dilakukan pembelajaran kemudian memberikan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan CTL model kooperatif tipe think-pair-share, dan terakhir diadakan post-test untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa.

Adapun perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan modul. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh pakar menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan dinyatakan sangat valid sebesar 86%. Diketahui bahwa thitung sebesar 2,517 dan ttabel(0)=t(1-0,05)=t(0,95) dengan derajat kebebasan (dk)=n1+n2-2=58. Nilai ttabel sebesar 1,67, maka nilai thitung>ttabel. Dari data diperoleh mean kelas XI TAV1 (eksperimen) sebesar 87,00, sedangkan XI TAV2 (kontrol) sebesar 83,40. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh pendekatan CTL model kooperatif tipe TPS mempunyai hasil belajar siswa yang lebih baik daripada kelas yang menggunakan model kooperatif tipe NHT.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes and student response using a the effect of  contextual teaching and learning (CTL) using cooperative model in the type think-pair-share. Objective studies of class XI AV SMKN 3 Surabaya academic year 2011/2012. The study design used was “The Pretest – posttest Equivalent Groups”.

Methods of data collection in this study were obtained through, the questionnaire responses of students, and student learning outcomes are descriptively analyzed quantitatively expressed as a percentage. The first treatment that is introduced prior to learning the learning device then delivers the learning process by using the effect of  contextual teaching and learning (CTL) using cooperative model in the type think-pair-share,  and last held post-test to determine student learning outcomes.

The learning resulting is a silabus, lesson plans and student worksheets. The results of the validation performed by experts showed that the learning device used is valid. From the results of the questionnqire responses of student learning the effect of  contextual teaching and learning (CTL) using cooperative model in the type think-pair-share has a rating of 86%  results are categorized either while the student learning outcomes indicate that most value can be achieved with good student. It is known that the ttest of 2,517 and table value of  ttabel(0)=t(1-0,05)=t(0,95) with degrees of freedom (dk)=n1+n2-2=58. T table is 1,67, the value ttest>ttable. From the data obtained a mean grade XI TAV1 (experiment) is equal to 87,00,while the XI TAV2 (control) is equal to 83,40 Based on these result,  it can be concluded the effect of  contextual teaching and learning (CTL) using cooperative model in the type think-pair-share student  learning own outcomes better than a class that  uses cooperative model in the type NHT.
