PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA KOMPETENSI MEMASANG INSTALASI PENERANGAN LISTRIK BANGUNAN DI SMKN 2 SURABAYA

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran aktif snowball throwing terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar memasang instalasi penerangan listrik bangunan. Disamping itu penelitian ini juga ingin memperoleh informasi respon siswa terhadap implementasi metode pembelajaran aktif snowball throwing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan dengan tipe “nonequivalent control group design”. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas XI TITL 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran langsung dan kelas XI TITL 2 sebagi kelas eksperimen dengan metode pembelajaran aktif snowball throwing. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa dengan instrumen berupa lembar tes tulis dan metode angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa dengan instrumen lembar angket. Pada peningkatan hasil belajar yang telah dianalisis, diperoleh nilai t_hitung 1.984 > t_table 1.6675, sehingga disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara siswa yang diberi treatment metode pembelajaran aktif snowball throwing dengan siswa yang diberi treatment pembelajaran langsung terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar. Pada analisis respon siswa didapatkan nilai rata-rata respon siswa sebesar 81,94 % yang berarti respon siswa positif terhadap model pembelajaran ini.

Thisresearch are purposing to determine the effect of the application of active learning methods snowball throwing to increase learning outcomes at the competency buildings the installation of electric lighting. Besides, this research also wants to obtain information about students response to the implementation of active learning methods snowballthrowing This method are using quasi experiment with the type of nonequivalent control group.The samples used were students of class XI TITL 1 as a control class with direct instruction and class XI TITL 2 as a class experiment with of active learning methods snowball throwing.Collecting data using test method to measure student learning outcomes with the instrument in the form of a written test sheet and questionnaire to determine students' responses to the questionnaire sheet instruments.On improving the learning outcomes that have been analyzed , the value of t_count 1,984 > t_table 1.6675, so it concluded a significant difference between the students who were given treatment of active learning methods snowball throwing with students who were given treatment direct learning towards learning outcome.In the analysis of student responses obtained an average of 81.94 % student response so positive student responses to this learning model.
