Abstract

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa; (2) respons siswa; dan (3) aktifitas siswa dalam penerapan Problem Based Instruction (PBI) dengan media software PhET pada Mata Pelajaran Dasar dan Pengukuran Listrik Berbasis Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design yaitu One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Desain penelitian ini hanya menggunakan satu sampel kelas eksperimen yang dipilih tidak secara random yaitu kelas X TIPTL 2. Jumlah siswa kelas X TIPTL 2 sebanyak 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data berupa hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif menggunakan soal pretest dan posttest, hasil belajar siswa ranah afektif menggunakan lembar pengamatan sikap spiritual dan sosial, hasil belajar siswa ranah psikomotorik menggunakan lembar penilaian keterampilan, respons siswa menggunakan angket respons siswa, dan aktivitas siswa menggunakan lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan t-test. Hasil Penelitian ini adalah (1) Skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif meningkat setelah diberi perlakuan. Skor pretest < skor posttest (46,2069<79,4483) dan berbeda secara signifikan dengan diperoleh -tHitung < -tTabel (-12,023<-1,701). Skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa ranah afektif pada pertemuan pertama hingga terakhir meningkat yaitu pertemuan I, II, III, dan IV masing-masing sebesar 76,8; 77,1; 78; dan 78,9. Skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa ranah psikomotorik pada pertemuan pertama hingga terakhir juga meningkat yaitu pertemuan I, II, III, dan IV masing-masing sebesar 76,3; 76,7; 79,8; dan 80,7; (2) Skor rata-rata penilaian angket respons siswa sebesar 86% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik; dan (3) Skor rata-rata  pengamatan aktifitas siswa sebesar 78% termasuk dalam kategori sangat aktif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam penerapan Problem Based Instruction (PBI) dengan media software PhET pada Mata Pelajaran Dasar dan Pengukuran Listrik Berbasis Kurikulum 2013; (2) Terdapat respons sangat baik dari siswa terhadap penerapan Problem Based Instruction (PBI) dengan media software PhET pada Mata Pelajaran Dasar dan Pengukuran Listrik Berbasis Kurikulum 2013; (3) Terdapat aktifitas siswa dalam kategori sangat aktif pada penerapan Problem Based Instruction (PBI) dengan media software PhET pada Mata Pelajaran Dasar dan Pengukuran Listrik Berbasis Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to determine (1) increasing of students’ learning outcomes; (2) the students' responses; and (3) the students’ activities on the implementation of Problem Based Instruction with Phet Software Media on 2013 Curriculum-Based Basic Electrical Measurement Subject. This observational method was experiment. The observational design was used Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of the research was Tenth Grade Of Installation Of Electric Power Engineering Program 2 as an experimental class, which was randomly chosen. Total students of Tenth Grade Of Installation Of Electric Power Engineering Program 2 as much 30 students. Collecting data of cognitive learning outcomes was used pretest and posttest’s problem, affective learning outcomes was used attitudes observing sheet spiritual and social, pshycomotor learning outcomes was used skill estimation sheet, the students’ responses was used response questionnaire sheet student, and the students’ activities was used activities observing sheet student. The data was analysed with t-tes. The results of this research were (1) The cognitive learning outcomes improved after treatment. The pre-test score was 46.2069 smaller than 79.4483 post-test, and it was significally different, in which Tobserved < Ttable (12.023 < -1.701). The average scores of affective learning outcomes, from the first to the last meeting, increased, that was 76.8 in the first meeting, 77.1 in the second meeting, 78 in the third meeting, and 78.9 in the fourth meeting.  The average score of psychomotor learning outcomes, from the first to the last meeting, increased, that was 76.3 in the first meeting, 76.7 in the second meeting, 79.8 in the third meeting, and 80.7 in the fourth meeting; (2) The average score of students' response questionnaire assessment is 86%, categorized  as very good; and (3) The average score of students’ activities observation is 78%, categorized as very active. The conclution of this research were: (1) there is an increasing of students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of Problem-Based Instruction with PhET software media on 2013 Curriculum-Based Basic Electrical Measurement; (2) there is a very good category of the students’ response to the implementation of Problem-Based Instruction with PhET software media on 2013 Curriculum-Based Basic Electrical Measurement; and (3) there is a very good category of students’ activities to  the implementation of Problem-Based Instruction with PhET software media on 2013 Curriculum-Based Basic Electrical Measurement.
