PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA YANG MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) DAN STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVMENT DIVISION(STAD) PADA MATA PELAJARAN TEKNIK ELEKTRONIKA DASAR KELAS X TAV DI SMK NEGERI 7 SURABAYA

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara di SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya diperoleh informasi bahwa sebagian guru di SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya masih menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan model pembelajaran Student Team Achievment Division (STAD) pada mata pelajaran Elektronika Dasar kelas X Teknik Audio Video di SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental dan menggunakan desain Noneqiuvalent Control Group Design dimana dalam desain ini terdapat dua kelas yang diberi perlakuan berbeda. Kedua kelas tersebut kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dan kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran Student Team Achievment Division (STAD). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen (XTAV1) adalah sebesar 63,94 dan rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol (XTAV2) adalah sebesar 59,19, dengan hasil perhitungan uji-t didapat t_hitung>t_tabel, yaitu nilai t_hitung 4,832 dan t_tabel pada taraf signifikansinya 5% (0,05) adalah 1,66. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rerata hasil belajar  kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievment Division (STAD). Harapan yang dapat peneliti sampaikan, hendaknya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat dikembangkan dan digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar dengan sebelumnya melakukan telaah kompetensi yang lebih maksimal.

Abstract

Based on the results of the interview in SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya still using the model of direct interuction with the lecture method. The study aims to determine differences learning outocomes of students who use cooperative learning Think Pair Share (TPS) model and Student Achievment Division (STAD) model in basic electrical lesson at tenth grade of electrical engineering SMKN 7 Surabaya. This study was an experimental study that use the Quasi Experimental Design method and applying the Noneqiuvalent Control Group Design where in this design have two class that  haven’t same treatment. That two class was experiment class that applying Think Pair Share (TPS) model and control class Student Achievment Division (STAD) model. The research shows that: (1) average results of learning classroom experiment (XTAV1) is the area of 63,94 and the average results of learning control class (XTAV2) is 59,19, with the results of the calculation of t_test to come by t_hitung>t_tabel, i.e. the value of t_hitung 4,832 and t_tabel on their significance level of 5% (0,05) was 1,66. Therefore the research, it can be concluded that there are differences between the mean results of experiment class that uses this type of Cooperative Learning Model Think Pair Share (TPS) and classroom Learning Model that uses a Cooperative type of Student Team Achievment Division (STAD). Hope that can tell reasearchers, it should Cooperative Learning Model of type Think Pair Share (TPS) could be developed and uses in the process of teaching and learning by conducting an examination of competence to be achieved so that its application complies wih the competencies to be achieved and the result was the maximum.
