PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN TRAINER FM TWO WAYS RADIO COMMUNICATION PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENERAPAN SISTEM RADIO DAN TELEVISI DI SMK KAL-1 SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh tidak adanya trainer transceiver yang layak di SMK KAL-1 Surabaya yang dapat digunakan untuk melaksanakan praktikum tentang transceiver pada mata pelajaran penerapan sistem radio dan televisi. Trainer yang dikembangkan diharapkan mampu melatih keterampilan dan kreatifitas siswa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan trainer yang layak seperti diuraikan berikut ini: (1) membuat trainer FM two ways radio communication yang valid digunakan pada mata pelajaran penerapan system radio dan televisi, (2) mengetahui bagaimana respon siswa terhadap trainer FM two ways radio communication pada mata pelajaran penerapan system radio dan televisi, dan (3) mengetahui bagaimana ketuntasan hasil belajar praktikum menggunakan trainer FM two ways radio communication pada mata pelajaran penerapan sistem radio dan televisi.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, ujicoba produk, serta analisis dan pelaporan. Data yang diambil dari penelitian ini meliputi hasil validasi produk, respon siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa.

Hasil dari penelitian ini meliputi: (1) trainer FM two ways radio communication valid digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran penerapan system radio dan televisi rata-rata hasil rating sebesar 78,1 % yang masuk dalam kategori valid, (2) respon siswa terhadap trainer FM two ways radio communication pada mata pelajaran penerapan sistem radio dan televisi berdasarkan rata-rata rating angket respon siswa sebesar 93,70% serta pendapat siswa setuju apabila trainer tersebut diterapkan sebagai media pembelajaran, dapat mempermudah memahami materi praktikum dan dapat menambah motivasi dan minat belajar siswa, dan (3) ketuntasan hasil belajar praktikum menggunakan trainer FM two ways radio communication pada mata pelajaran penerapan sistem radio dan televisi sangat baik dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar kelas mencapai 100%. Dengan demikian, maka trainer FM two ways radio communication layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran penerapan sistem radio dan televisi.

Abstract

This research is based on the absence of a proper transceiver trainer in SMK KAL-1 Surabaya that can be used to carry out the practice of transceiver on the subjects of penerapan system radio dan televisi. The developed trainers are expected to be able to train students skills and creativity. The study aims to produce a proper trainer as described below: (1) make the trainer of FM two ways radio communication which validly applied to the subjects of penerapan system radio dan televisi, (2) to know how the student response to the trainer FM two ways radio communication on the subjects of penerapan system radio dan televisi, and (3) to know how the result of practicum learning using trainer FM two ways radio communication on the subject of penerapan system radio dan televisi.

The research method used is research and development method (R & D) with the following stages: potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, product testing, and analysis and reporting. Data taken from this research include product validation results, student responses, and student learning outcomes.

The results of this study include: (1) FM radio two-way trainer valid used as a medium of learning of penerapan system radio dan televisi on average the result of the rating of 78.1% included in the valid category, (2) the student response to the trainer FM two ways radio communication on subjects penerapan system radio dan televisi based on the average ratting of student response questionnaire of 93.70% and opinions of students agree if the trainer is applied as a medium of learning, can facilitate the understanding of practical materials and can increase student motivation and interest, and (3) the completeness of the result of practicum learning using the two ways radio communication trainer on the subjects of penerapan system radio dan televisi is very good with the completeness of the learning result of the class reaches 100%. Thus, the trainer FM two ways radio communication worthy to be used as a medium of learning on the subject of penerapan system radio dan televise.
