PENGARUH MODEL ACTIVE LEARNING DENGAN STRATEGI LIGHTENING THE LEARNING CLIMATE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMK NEGERI 3 BOYOLANGU TAHUN AJARAN 2012/2013

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model active learning dengan strategi lightening the learning climate dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi student teams achievement division (STAD) pada standar kompetensi menerapkan konsep elektronika digital dan rangkaian elektronika komputer.

Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu “Nonequivalen Control Design”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TEI SMKN 3 Boyolangu. Diambil sampel sebanyak 2 kelas, kelas X TEI 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X TEI 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajarnya digunakan teknik analisis data uji-t.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pretest pada siswa yang menggunakan model active learning dengan strategi lightening the learning climate lebih rendah sama dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi student teams achievement division (STAD). Dan hasil postest menunjukkan bahwa siswa dyang menggunakan model active learning dengan strategi lightening the learning climate lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi student teams achievement division (STAD). Ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh model active learning dengan strategi lightening the learning climate lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi student teams achievement division (STAD).

Abstract

This research is intended for determining the feasibility of the media for teaching learning which model is active learning using lightening the learning climate strategy with cooperative learning using student teams achievement division (STAD) strategy on the competency standard of applying concept electronic digital and circuits elektronika computer.

The research method was used is quasi experiment  with research design of “Nonequivalen Control Design”. The population in this research were students of class X TEI SMKN 3 Boyolangu. The sample were taken are 2 classes, class X TEI 1 as experiment-class and X TEI 2 as the control-class. Then, to know the differences in the result of their learning process, it is used data analysis techniques of t-test.

The result showed that student’s pretest result wich used model of active learning with lightening the learning climate strategy is less than or equal to student’s learning result wich used model of cooperative learning using student teams achievement division (STAD) strategy. And student’s postest result wich used model of active learning with lightening the learning climate strategy higher than student’s learning result wich used model of cooperative learning using student teams achievement division (STAD) strategy. This suggests that effect of active learning model using lightening the learning climate strategy better than model of cooperative learning using student teams achievement division (STAD) strategy.
