PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN TANYA JAWAB PROBING-PROMPTING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA STANDAR KOMPETENSI MENERAPKAN DASAR-DASAR ELEKTRONIKA KELAS X AV DI SMK NEGERI 2 SURABAYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran dengan metode Tanya Jawab Probing-Prompting terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada standar kompetensi menerapkan dasar-dasar elektronika. (2) Mengetahui respon siswa terhadap metode pembelajaran Tanya Jawab Probing-Prompting.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Quasi Experimental Design menggunakan desain Posttest Only Control Group Design di mana terdapat kelas eksperimen dengan metode pembelajaran Tanya Jawab Probing-Prompting dan kelas kontrol dengan metode pembelajaran ceramah, yang selanjutnya diberikan Posttest untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah diberi perlakuan yang berbeda. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X AV2 dan X AV3 SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2013/2014.

Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar siswa dengan metode pembelajaran Tanya Jawab Probing-Prompting lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa dengan metode pembelajaran ceramah dengan perolehan uji-t yakni t_hitung 3,753 > t_tabel1,99, dan dengan rincian nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 80,39 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 75,44. (2) Hasil angket respon siswa menunjukkan Hasil Rating sebesar 77,07%. Dari kriteria penentuan prosentase rating penilaian kualitatif maka respon siswa diketegorikan baik terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran Tanya Jawab Probing-Prompting.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Determine the influence of learning FAQ methods Probing-Prompting the student learning outcomes in competency standards apply basics of electronics. (2) Knowing the students response to the learning FAQ method Probing-Prompting.

The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design used design is the Only Posttest Control Group Design, where experiment there are classes with methods Prompting-Probing and control class with the lecture method is further given Posttest to determine student learning outcomes after different treatments are given. The target of this research is class X AV2 and X AV3 State SMK 2 of Surabaya academic year 2013/2014.

From the research results obtained, indicate that: (1) The results of student learning with an FAQ method Probing-Prompting higher than the lecture method of teaching with the acquisition t-test is t_count 3,753 > t_table 1,99, with details of the average value of the experimental class 80,39 and the average value of the control class 75,44. (2) The results of student questionnaire responses indicate Rating Result of 77,07 %. Of criteria for determining the percentage of the qualitative appraisal rating categorized good student response to the application of the learning of FAQ method Probing-Prompting.
