Perbandingan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Berbasis Multiple Intelligences dengan Kooperatif Tipe STAD terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Standar Kompetensi Memahami Dasar-Dasar Kelistrikan di SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis Multiple Intelligences dengan kooperatif tipe STAD pada standar kompetensi memahami dasar-dasar kelistrikan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis Multiple Intelligences, juga untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Kemudian kedua hasil belajar tersebut dibandingkan untuk memperoleh hasil belajar yang terbaik.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Posttest Control Group Design, yang termasuk kategori eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis Multiple Intelligences, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis Multiple Intelligences masuk dalam kategori hasil belajar tinggi dibuktikan dengan hasil  uji-t menggunakan SPSS versi 16.0 yang diperoleh t_hitung = 37,805 > t_tabel = 1,672 dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Kemudian hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD juga termasuk kategori hasil belajar tinggi dibuktikan dengan hasil uji-t menggunakan SPSS versi 16.0 yang diperoleh t_hitung = 39,388 > t_tabel = 1,672 dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05.

Kemudian dengan membandingkan kedua hasil belajar tersebut, diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis Multiple Intelligences lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan hasil uji-t diperoleh t_hitung = 14,490 dan t_tabel = 1,672 sehingga dikatakan t_hitung > t_tabel dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to compare the learning outcomes of students using cooperative learning model based on Multiple Intelligences with the STAD cooperative competency standards to understand the basics of electricity. The study aims to determine how high the learning outcomes of students using cooperative learning model based on Multiple Intelligences, also to find out how high the learning outcomes of students using cooperative learning model STAD. Then both learning outcomes are compared to obtain the best learning results.

The method used to achieve that goal is an experimental research method. The study design used was posttest control group design, which includes the category of quasi-experimental (quasi-experiment). Class experiments using cooperative learning model based Multiple Intelligences, whereas for the control class using STAD cooperative learning model. From research done shows that students learn to use cooperative learning model based on Multiple Intelligences in the category of high learning outcomes evidenced by the results of the t-test using SPSS version 16.0 were obtained t = 37.805> table = 1.672 with a significance level α = 0.05. Then the student learning outcomes using STAD cooperative learning model also includes the category of high learning outcomes evidenced by the results of the t-test using SPSS version 16.0 were obtained t = 39.388> table = 1.672 with a significance level α = 0.05.

Then, by comparing both the results of the study, it is known that the cooperative learning model based on Multiple Intelligences better than STAD cooperative learning model. This was evidenced by the t-test results obtained t = 14.490 and table = 1.672 so it is said t count> t table with significance level α = 0.05.
