PENGARUH STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN EKSPOSITORI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA DIKLAT MEMPERBAIKI COMPACT CASSETE RECORDER KELAS XI TAV DI SMA NEGERI 2 SURABAYA

Salah satu aspek yang mendukung dari keberhasilan tujuan kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah strategi yang digunakan. Sedangkan dalam memilih strategi belajar yang tepat guru harus memperhatikan kondisi siswa, materi yang diajarkan dan ketersediaan waktu dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Selain itu, penyampaian materi guru kepada siswa harus disajikan dengan penuturan yang baik dan jelas. Sehingga siswa dapat menerima dan menguasai materi yang telah diberikan dengan baik juga. Adapun strategi yang layak diterapkan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah strategi ekspositori. Dalam strategi ekspositori lebih menekankan pada cara bertutur guru dalam menyampaikan materi dan dengan menggunakan cara tersebut siswa merasa tertantang untuk mempelajari materi yang telah diajarkan, sehingga kemampuan penguasaan materi dan akademik siswa semakin meningkat.

Jenis peneltian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experiment (noneequivalent control group design) yang terdiri dari satu kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas XI TAV 2 dan satu kelas control yaitu kelas XI TAV 3. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya.

Respon para ahli terhadap kelayakan strategi pembelajaran EKSPOSITORI adalah dinyatakan layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran, dengan hasil rating validasi Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) 79,583%, Bahan Ajar 75,589%. Sedangkan hasil rating untuk respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran ini sebesar 83,97%. Untuk hasil belajar siswa didapatkan t_testsebesar 8,755 dan t_tabel sebesar 1,67. Pada pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t satu pihak kanan dapat disimpulkan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada Standart Kompetensi Memperbaiki Compact Cassete Recorder kelas XI TAV SMK  Negeri 2 Surabaya.

Abstract

One aspect of the success of the objectives that support teaching and learning activities is a strategy used. While in selecting appropriate learning strategies teachers should pay attention to the condition of the students, the material being taught and the availability of time in learning activities. In addition, the delivery of material to the student teacher should be presented with a narrative that is good and clear. So that students can receive and control of material that has been provided with good as well. The proper strategy is applied in the teaching and learning activities are expository strategy. In expository strategy is more emphasis on how to speak the teacher in presenting the material and by using the way the students are challenged to learn the material that has been taught, so that mastery of the material and the academic ability of students is increasing.

This research is a type of Quasi Experimental research (noneequivalent control group design) consisting of one experimental class is class XI TAV 2 and a control class that is class XI TAV 3.

This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya. Response to experts on the feasibility of expository teaching strategy is declared fit for use for learning, with a rating of validation results Lesson Plan (RPP) 79.583 %, 75.589 % Instructional Materials. While the rating results for students' response to the learning of 83.97 %. For student learning outcomes obtained t test was 8.755 and t tables of 1.67. In testing the hypothesis with t-test of the right hand can be concluded that student learning outcomes using learning strategies expository better than students using the conventional learning models on Competency Standard Compact Cassette Recorder Fixing TAV class XI SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya.
