Mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran yang tepat merupakan suatu alternatif dalam mengatasi masalah dalam pembelajaran pada siswa di SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya. Melalui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning diharapkan siswa menjadi lebih aktif sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu metode penelitian yang menghasilkan produk dan menguji keefektifan produk. Rancangan ujicoba penelitian yang digunakan adalah The Static-Group Comparison Desain.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan peneliti memiliki persentase rata-rata sebesar 81,05% dari hasil validasi oleh para ahli, (2) Respon siswa terhadap model Problem Based Learning secara keseluruhan adalah positif dengan rata-rata persentase respon siswa sebesar 80,94% dan termasuk dalam kriteria respon baik, dan (3) Dari Hasil belajar siswa diperoleh t_hitungsebesar 12,28 dan t_tabelsebesar 2,00. ini berarti t_hitung>t_tabel, dapat disimpulkan untuk terima H₁ dan tolak H₀ dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Langsung.

Abstract

The alternative way to develop media and learning method in SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya is Problem Based Learning Method. By using this method, the students are encouraged to be active in class and finally they can improve their learning outcomes.

Method used in this research can result product. It also can test the affectivity of the product. Test plan of the research is The Static-Group Comparison Design.

The research shows that: 1. Media which is developed by researcher is 81.05% from the result validated by the experts, 2. The students responds positively to Problem Based Learning Methods for about 80.94%. It is categorized as good respond criteria, and 3. From the students’ learning outcomes, the researcher figures out that t_countis 12,28 and t_tableis 2,00. It shows that t_count> t_table. The conclusion is to receive H1 and to reject H0 with students learning outcomes using Problem Based Learning Method is higher than direct learning method.
