PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung, serta membandingkan hasil belajar siswa manakah yang lebih tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan Non Equivalent Control Group Design, desain ini hampir sama dengan Pretest-Posttest Control Design hanya pada desain ini kelompok eksperimen maupun kelompok kontrol tidak dipilih secara random. Kelompok pertama diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dan kelompok yang lain diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran langsung. Kelompok yang diberi perlakuan (treatment) disebut kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok yang tidak diberi perlakuan (treatment) disebut kelompok kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen terdapat 28 siswa, sedangkan kelas kontrol 32 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu metode tes dan observasi. Metode analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik parametris t tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT  tinggi, sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung tinggi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study to determine the learning outcomes of students taught using cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together and learning outcomes of students who are taught using direct instructional model, and compare the results of student learning which one is higher. The research method used was experimental research with non-Equivalent Control Group Design, the design is almost the same as the pretest-posttest control design only in this design the experimental group and the control group was not randomly selected. The first group was treated with cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together and the other group treated with direct instructional model. Treated group (treatment) is called the experimental group and the untreated group (treatment) is called the control group. In the experimental class there are 28 students, while the control class of 32 students. Methods of collecting data and testing methods of observation. Methods of statistical data analysis done with the parametric t test. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students taught using cooperative learning model NHT high, while for the learning outcomes of students who are taught using direct instruction model of high. So it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students taught using cooperative learning model NHT higher than students taught using direct instructional model.
