PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN TRAINER DVD PLAYER PADA MATA PELAJARAN MEMPERBAIKI ALAT REPRODUKSI SINYAL AUDIO VIDEO CD KELAS XI TAV SMKN 7 SURABAYA

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada observasi yang telah dilakukan dan permasalahannya yaitu adanya trainer DVD player yang perlu pengembangan dikarenakan trainer tergabung menjadi 1 yaitu trainer VCD, trainer DVD dan trainer VCR. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) membuat media pembelajaran berupa trainer DVD player dan jobsheet, (2) mengetahui tingkat ketercapaian dalam kegiatan praktikum dan (3) mengetahui respon siswa tentang trainer DVD player dan jobsheet yang diajarkan pada mata pelajaran memperbaiki alat reproduksi sinyal audio video CD kelas XI TAV SMKN 7 Surabaya Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015.

Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 7 tahapan yaitu : (1) tahap analisis masalah, (2) tahap pengumpulan data, (3) tahap desain produk, (4) tahap validasi desain, (5) tahap revisi desain, (6) tahap uji coba produk dan (7) tahap analisa dan pelaporan. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil validasi trainer dan jobsheet untuk mengetahui kelayakan, hasil kegiatan praktikum untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan siswa melakukan praktikum dan hasil respon siswa untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap media trainer dan jobsheet.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil validasi pada keseluruhan aspek yang terdapat pada trainer dinyatakan layak dengan rata-rata hasil rating sebesar 83,75%. Validasi untuk keseluruhan aspek yang terdapat pada jobsheet dinyatakan layak dengan rata-rata hasil rating sebesar 85,8%. Kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan praktikum dinyatakan baik dengan rata-rata hasil rating sebesar 80,2%. Respon siswa terhadap media trainer dan jobsheet dinyatakan sangat baik dengan rata-rata hasil rating sebesar 86,98%.

ABSTRACT

This research is based on the observation had been done and the problem is a player DVD trainer which is need to be developed because of the trainer is bundled into 1, those are VCD trainer, DVD trainer and VCR trainer. The purposes of this research are (1) to create a learning media in the form of player DVD trainer with the jobsheet (2) to know the achievement level in practical activities, and (3) to know students’ response of player DVD trainer and its jobsheet which is taught on the subject of repairing the CD video audio signal reproduction for XI TAV class of SMKN 7 Surabaya 2014/2015

The research method used here is Research and Development (R&D). There are 7 steps in this research: (1) problem analysis step (2) data collection step (3) product design step (4) design validation step (5) design revision step (6) product trial step, and (7) report and analysis step. The data collection in this research is obtained from jobsheet and trainer validation result to know the conformity, practical activity result is done to know students’ ability level in doing the practical activity and students’ response result to know students’ response toward jobsheet and trainer media.

Based on the rsearch, it is known that the validation result to the whole aspect which is obtained from the trainer  which is decided to be conformed with the average result is on 83.75% rating. The validation for the whole aspect which is obtained from the jobsheet decided to be conformed with average result is on 85.8% rating. Students’ ability in doing practical activity is clarified to be good with the average result is on 80.2% rating. Students’ response toward these jobsheet and media trainer is clarified to be very good with the average result is on 86.98% rating.
