PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE PRACTICE-REHEARSAL PAIRS (PRP) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA STANDAR KOMPETENSI MENAFSIRKAN GAMBAR TEKNIK LISTRIK DI SMK NEGERI 2 PAMEKASAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Practice Rehearseal Pairs berbeda secara signifikan daripada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif, serta untuk mengetahui keterampilan sosial siswa selama kegiatan belajar menggunakan perangkat model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Practice Rehearseal Pair pada materi menafsirkan gambar di SMKN 2 Pamekasan

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah praeksperimen dengan desain penelitian Non-Equivalent Control Group Pre-test - Post-test ". Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X TL 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas X TL 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen di SMK NEGERI 2 Pamekasan semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2012 / 2013. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan keterampilan sosial siswa dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan dinyatakan dalam persentase. Perlakuan pertama yaitu pada awal pembelajaran memperkenalkan perangkat pembelajaran, memberikan pre-test, memberikan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran (PRP) pada kelas X TL2 dan model pembelajaran kooperatif pada kelas X TL 1, dan terakhir pemberian post-test untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 80,00  dan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol sebesar 75,76, sedangkan melalui perhitungan uji t didapat t_hitung > t_tabel, yaitu nilai t_hitung sebesar 2,198  dan t_tabel pada taraf signifikansinya 5% (0,05) adalah sebesar 1,665. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Practice Rehearseal Pair berbeda secara signifikan daripada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif.

ABSTRACT

This research aims to find out if learning outcomes of students who use cooperative learning model type Practice Rehearseal Pairs differ significantly from the results of students who use cooperative learning model, as well as to learn social skills and learning activities for students using cooperative learning model of type pair on the material Rehearseal Practice interpreting images in SMKN 2 Pamekasan.

This type of research is used pre experiment with the design of the research of non-equivalent control group pre test – post-test. This research was carried out in class X TL 1 as control class and the students of class X TL 2 as a class experiment in SMK NEGERI 2 Pamekasan in odd semester academic year 2012/2013. The instruments used are observation sheet student social skills and test results of student learning. The data analyzed by quantitative descriptive and expressed in percentage. The first treatment at the beginning of learning introducing learning devices, giving pre-test, giving the process of learning by using learning model (PRP) in class X TL 2 and cooperative learning model in X TL 1 class, and booking of post-test to find out the results of student learning.

The results showed that the average study results of experiment class 80.00 and the average value of control class 75,76, while through the calculation of t-test to come by t_calculate value of 2,198 and t_table on their significance level of 5% (0.05) is 1,665. Based on the results of the above research, then it can be inferred that the class that uses this type of cooperative learning model of Practice Rehearseal Pairs differ significantly from the control class that uses the model of cooperative learning.
