ANALYSIS OF OPEN SPIKE VOLLEY BALL MOVEMENT (FOCUSING ON SURABAYA BHAYANGKARA SAMATOR ATHLETE THAT VIEWED FORM BIOMECHANICAL ASPECTS)

Biomechanics is a science that studies the movements of the human body with the principles of mechanics. The growing technology concept of biomechanics in sports makes it easier for athletes to work or practice.

The statement of the problem that raised in this study is how is the sequence of open spike technic movements in effective volleyball that viewed from the concept of biomechanics? Which includes the repulsion phase, the jumping phase, the hitting phase, and the total time from the repulsion phase to the hitting phase so that it can be used as a lesson to improve the open spike movement.

This type of research is quantitative by using descriptive quantitative analysis approach by helping the kinovea software application. Leap height and body mass greatly influence the results of open spike power. BY subject has open spike results that are relatively fast falling than SK subject, but SK subject has a higher jump than BY subject.

Biomekanika adalah suatu ilmu yang mempelajari tentang gerak tubuh manusia dengan prinsip-prinsip mekanika. Semakin berkembangnya tekologi konsep biomekanika dalam olahraga semakin mempermudah olahragawan dalam bekerja maupun berlatih.

Rumusan masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana rangkaian gerakan teknik open spike pada olahraga bolavoli yang efektif ditinjau dari konsep biomekanika? Yang didalamnya mencakup fase tolakan, fase lompatan, fase memukul bola, dan total waktu dari fase tolakan sampai fase memukul bola sehingga dapat dijadikan pembelajaran untuk memperbaiki gerakan open spike .

Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi software kinovea. Tinggi lompatan dan berat massa tubuh sangat mempengaruhi dalam hasil power open spike. Subjek BY memiliki hasil open spike yang relative cepat jatuh dibandingkan subyek SK, namun subyek SK memiliki lompatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan subyek BY.
