Motivasi Siswa mengikuti Latihan Sepakbola di Lamongan Soccer Academy (LSA)

Abstract

Football is a sport that is very popular with all people in the world. Soccer is a team game, each team consisting of eleven players, and one of them is a goalkeeper. This game is played almost entirely with the legs, except for the goalkeeper who is allowed to use his arm in the area of ​​his penalty kick                    The goal of the soccer sports game itself is to achieve the highest achievement. To achieve this achievement, athletes need good physical, technical, tactical, and psychological preparation. Apart from that, tools for training, facilities and infrastructure are also needed, as well as trainers to support athletes' training. However, during training, the coaches are still lacking in providing psychological training to their foster children, especially in early grassroot. Talking about the psychological aspects of an athlete, there are many things that need to be considered, including motivation, anxiety, self-confidence, emotions, interests and etc.

                    This study aims to determine what factors can influence student motivation to join soccer training at the Lamongan Soccer Academy (LSA).

                    The data from the results of this study are in the Sangat Setuju (SS) category it has a total of 322 with a percentage of 54%, in the Setuju (S) category it has a total of 130 with a percentage of 22%, in the category Tidak Setuju (TS) has a total of 111 with a percentage of 19%, and the category Sangat Tidak Setuju (STS) has a total of 35 with a percentage of 6%

Based on the tables and diagrams, it shows that the percentage of athletes' motivation to participate in soccer training at the Lamongan Soccer Academy (LSA) is viewed from two factors, namely intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factor has a percentage of 82%, and extrinsic factor has a percentage of 92%.
