Efisiensi Pemain Asing Pelita Jaya Bakrie Jakarta di Indonesian Basketball League (Berdasarkan Statistik)

Abstract

Score productivity in every basketball match is the top priority in winning the title, so that the team's winning frequency can be achieved as optimally as possible. The measure of success or efficiency in a game can be seen from team statistics. Efficiency or not a team depends on the ability of individuals who must master several techniques in playing basketball. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficiency of foreign players on the Pelita Jaya Bakrie Jakarta team in the Indonesia Basketball League based on match statistics. The target of this research is the foreign player Pelita Jaya Bakrie. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The data source in this study used secondary data in the form of a statistical result document of the 2019/2020 IBL match. The data collection technique in this study is a document, namely a record of past events. The data analysis technique used an efficiency formula, then averaged and presented. The results of data analysis are presented in tabular form and then described in descriptive form. The results of this study, S. Battle foreign players obtained an average score of 15.54 efficiency. D. Lowhorn obtained an average score of 33.71 efficiency. K.Bridgewaters obtained an average score of 16.47 efficiency. M. Murray obtained an average score of 11.92 efficiency. The average results of foreign players can be said to be consistent because the results of the calculation use the efficiency formula for the total score above the dominant average or equal to the total score below the average.
