Abstract

Football is a sport played in one area with two teams facing each other. Each team consists of 11 players with different positions during play. This sport is very popular with all the people, men and women, from young to old. So that all people around the world are making this sport the most popular sport. To become a professional soccer player is not easy because a prospective professional soccer player needs long-term training. Long-term and routine training is aimed at training the motor so that every movement of the techniques carried out becomes automatic. The driving factors such as anthropometric conditions will help football players in a match. For example, fat and short-bodied soccer players will find it difficult to perform a variety of movements. For that maintaining ideal body weight is needed by a soccer player. The purpose of this study was to determine motor skills in football extracurricular students of Vocational High School 1 Udanawu, Blitar. This study use 2 research methods. Descriptive research method which has characteristics with no hypothesis and correlational research methods where in this research also look for the relationship between two or more variables. This study aims to determine the motor skills and anthropometric conditions of students who take extracurricular football at Vocational High School 1 Udanawu, Blitar Regency. Data from this study were obtained from tests conducted by gauges of objects. The results showed that respondents with mild physical activity had no results. Respondents with moderate physical activity category did not have great and bad results, in the category of lack there were 1 child (4%), the result of the moderate category were 10 children (36%), and in the good category there were 1 child (4% ). And respondents with strenuous physical activity no one gets bad results, and less, in the medium category are 4 children (14%), good categories are 10 children (36%), and very good category are 2 children (7%). As for the correlation results show that the relation and significant between the duration of physical activity and physical activity tests that is on the agility test, the correlation results are 0.519, and the significant results are 0.005. Such findings show that there is a link between sporting activities and agility, indicating greater agility when students are doing sporting activities. In the speed test the correlation result is 0.546 and the significant result is 0.003. Such findings suggest that there is a link between speed and sporting activities which indicates that the more vigorously sporting activities are conducted the higher the speed. In the explosive power test the correlation result is 0.538 and the significant result is 0.003. In these results indicate that there is a relationship between sports activities with explosive power which means the more actively doing sports activities the better the explosive power. In the VO 2 Max test the correlation result is 0.300 and the significant result is 0.121. These results indicate that there is no relationship between sports activities with VO 2 Max.
