The The effect of juggling training on eye and feet coordination of womens futsal players

Abstract

Eye and foot coordination is very important in futsal. In terms of speed, strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, and balance can be used as strategic steps to measure eye and foot coordination. With this juggling exercise it can provide provisions for the ability knowledge and skills in developing personal skills of futsal players. Through the juggling exercise program, one of the efforts to train eye and foot coordination uses a juggling test battery. Based on this background, this study aims to determine the effect of juggling training on the eye and foot coordination of female players. The method in this research design is quantitative, using a quasi-experimental method research design with a set of pre-test and post-test design, and the sampling technique using random sampling with a sample size of 16 people. The results showed that the mean juggling in 30 seconds before the test was 22,36, and the mean score after the test was 26,06. The magnitude of the change can be seen from the difference reaching 3,68. Thus, it can be conclude that juggling practice affects the eye and foot coordination of female futsal players.
